It's not a radio or a Bluetooth speaker. It's more than both. It allows pre-programmed stations from Pandora, iHeart Radio and other online sources. It also allows for streaming of music from devices in your home like your phone or computer. The sound is Very good. No matter where it is placed in the room, the sound seems to project like it was pointed your direction. Easy to program and extremely easy to use. It can be operated from your device, the remote or from your phone. Well worth it.

high quality, reasonable price for the great product.

Wanted a bluetooth speaker for my laptop for watching movies and listening to music. This speaker seemed to fit the bill. I should have done more research. I thought at first it had an internal rechargeable battery. It does not. It has to remained plugged in to an outlet. Strike one. Like I said, I should have done more research. Bose is synonymous with great sound. Well I can't say that I am completely happy with the sound this speaker puts out. I have a small bluetooth speaker I use for my iPhone that sounds much better, and it's not a Bose. I listened it in the store and it sounded good there, but doesn't seem to sound anything like it did in the store at home. Oh well. It doesn't sound bad, just not like a Bose. Strike two. Set up was relatively quick and easy. No complaints there. However the ap leaves much to be desired... Not going into detail there. But I don't use the ap and the speaker presets anymore....... All in all the speaker is adequate to meet my needs. However, it's not one I am totally happy with.

Bose staff walks you through setup of system. Speakers are compact, but heavy duty and have unbelievable sound quality.

This speaker is excellent. The sounds (base and treble) are crisp and the remote is a plus.

Bose never seems to disappoint even with their older models this is still a great purchase. The price of the time was awesome and there was no doubt that I could not pass this up. Has worked excellent sound quality is great Highly recommend for your bedroom or even take it outside to listen to some music to enjoy the day with the summer months to come.

Great sound but can be a little awkward setting up. I use to in place of my iMac speakers when using garage band. Excellent sound from bass to high.

I bought this to go in my bedroom and planned to use it with the Bose soundtouch 300. After first seeing it up, I couldn't get the play all feature to work. I could play on one or the other but not both. After restarting both and reconfiguring to connect both to the same network, I could finally play music on both. The remote is super convenient especially since you can set up to 6 preset Spotify stations to play whenever simply pressing one of the number keys. Much easier than having to did through my phone for the app

You will enjoy this product. For it's small size it has very good sound quality and output. value for the money!

It is a Bose product, so you know the sound will be great. But understand that it does NOT have an internal battery. It will need to be plugged in wherever you have it. Don't expect to take this with you to the beach or park, unless you bring a small power pack or generator. It currently sits on my wife's dresser and she uses it for background music as she completes any house chores.
