    I believed when I ordered this that it could be used with my home wifi. That is not true unless you have the Bose soundtouch system to wifi it with. I have a Bose sound bar but not soundtouch line. So could not use at all. Looked great but could not tell about anything else with it. Very disappointed!

    Good sound when the app works and it can find your speaker. Most days the coordination between iPad, iPhone, and iMac isn’t consistent. I’ve programmed the presets on my Bose app, turned on the speaker and no presets are loaded. Bose tech support takes in the information but no updates have resolved the issues.

    My wife loves the previous Bose Bluetooth speakers we have owned. Last one was the Soundlink Bluetooth III. She actually did not want to get this new one, but I talked her into it. We hooked it up and replaced the old Soundlink. Every bit as clear in the mids and highs, if not clearer. Main difference is the bass. We find the bass to be deep (not subwoofer deep but very present) and clean. The addition of the app on the phone and the computer to hook up via Wi-Fi and not just Bluetooth really widens the options for this device. We have it in the kitchen area and can choose from Amazon, iTunes and other music services with ease. Works fine with the Echo (was a little bit picky to set up). Overall, we really preferred this unit to the Soundtouch 30. Definitely good sound from that unit, but we found the bass a bit "too" much for our taste given the application (and our HT system has dual 800 watt subs). All in all, a very good performer for specific applications. Good build quality and lots of connectivity options. Very pleased.

    I was looking for more sounds then that. It was weak in sounds. I have a Bose radio and it sounds way louder then the Bose i just bought.. NEVER AGIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Not Consistent but Love It Anyway

    I have purchased the Bose Wave, 10 and 20 for my home audio system, and now about to purchase the 30. The sound quality just can't be beat, from the smallest speaker and up. However, I do NOT love the Soundtouch App--I spend way too much time reinstalling it because after some time it doesn't recognize my speakers. Total craziness. Anyway, because the product is great and works beautifully when it does work, I am going to take some time and get on the phone with Bose (per the instructions in this forum) and have someone walk me through the process. I have avoided calling because I don't have the time to spend on this issue. I have called before but that was at initial setup and not to this degree. Since I can also use the speakers separately, that is an option that I choose regularly. Each speaker has 6 presets so it allows for tons of stations if you have multiple speakers plus Pandora, Spotify (my favorite), SiriusXM and others. When it's time for a party, I MUST have the full blowout sound playing simultaneously (for indoors and out) and it does not disappoint--I really don't even need all of the speakers for this effect. I don't think the competition can measure up; I spent a lot of time going back and forth trying to decide before purchasing. The speakers are sleek, gorgeous and fit in most spaces with a rich, crisp sound. I made the right decision...

    Really not happy with this unit. Regurally cuts off. Thought it was possibly my WIFI. Tested it with other WIFI and it still cuts out or stops playing. Best Buy was of no help dealing with this because I was past their return policy. Bose never responded to two emails.

    If you like to listen radio from around the world, this is product for you. Beside the great sound quality and very attractive design this device gives you access to radio stations from around the world. We bought this system just to listen european radio station from the internet.

      This speaker has access to audio through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and AUX. When the speaker is setup through Wi-Fi, you can gain access to speaker updates, speaker grouping, and online radio stations and music services.
      Furthermore, when this speaker is setup on Wi-Fi, you can still group the speakers and play from a Bluetooth or AUX source, as this will re-transmit the audio information through the Wi-Fi network to other speakers.
      If you are unsure how to make use of these features, or are not interested in these features and are looking for an alternative Bluetooth product, please get in touch with Bose support in your country/region so we can make this right with you.

    +++++ +Easy set-up with the app...set up 4(3 20's, 1 10)...from the app you can control alot(volume, on/off, groupings, content)...the app. loads to mutilple devices with your settings,etc( I have the app. loaded to 2 samsung tablets) +Presets allow for immediate loading of content....(Your Stations) +Great separation of instruments, voices...pure, true to the recording...classic Bose approach to delivery of music...full and robust... +Has an Aux for a 3.5mm headphone connection...using 1(20 SoundTouch) for my kitchen TV...dialogue and sounds are clear and pleasing to the ear....balanced delivery...including Spurs Games... +Bluetooth connection on each device is a plus... ------(minuses) -Fear if the app. crashes....time to troubleshoot and set up again...My hope is that the app. is stable even with updates(I'll find out)... -No control of bass & treble...You better like Boses' Engineers approach to music and sound... -No portable unit to take outside...10's, 20's all need to be plugged in... -Cannot play some music thru the Entire System...open source, YouTube, etc...You could connect 1 device to the BlueTooth but not the system..can only use/access content within the app.(Internet Radio, Sirius) even Amazon Music within the app. is limited to their playlists(cannot access my purchased music from my tablet...thru a computer? There are a few things that we'd like to help with. The bass on these speakers is adjustable through the SoundTouch app. In the SoundTouch app, choose EXPLORE > SETTINGS > System settings. Select the system to adjust. In the BASS ADJUSTMENT section, use the + and - buttons to adjust the bass level.     The worst thing I ever purchased. Every time you turn it on the app says can’t find speaker. I would have give it 0 stars but 1 is as low as you can go. Don’t waste your money on this CRAP!

    If this was a no name speaker I would say it performs well, but being a Bose speaker I expect more. I have the soundwave and it sounds great. This is a disappointment and it will be returned.

    I bought this one to replace the series 10 that I have in my bar area. I wanted a little louder sound so I went with this series 20. I knew I wouldn't make a mistake cuz it's a Bose. It's exactly what I wanted as far as sound. I also connected it to my Smart TV and it sounds so clear and full of bass. A++++++

    I bought and returned 3 speakers before buying this one. I am extremely picky. You will love it. Sound quality, bass etc are excellent. Well worth the money. Don't go the cheap route! I liked the Harmon Karman but I LOVE the options I get with Bose. Stick with Bose!
