I returned it , expected better quality from Bose , especially at that price. Sounded worse than my old bose

stop out of the blue, and after a few seconds on, I dont know why do that.

Returñed within a week. Poor build quality, sound and the Bluetooth radio kept losing connections.

Sound was distorted. I think it was defective. I returned it.

I bought the Music System IV, SoundTouch 10 and 20. All I can say is that I am so unbelievably happy and impressed. Setup with the SoundTouch app was a breeze. It was a magical moment when I hit "Play Everywhere" and the beautiful sounds of music were all over the house. I have recommended this system to everyone I know. I just don't think you can do any better than a BOSE. Equivalent? Maybe, but not better...

I have an old original SoundLink....and I have a new Soundlink Mini II that I absolutely love (great for travel/staying in a hotel room - great speakerphone, too.). After deciding that I wanted streaming music capability beyond pairing my phone with a speaker, I bought an Amazon Echo and loved it but found the sound 'wanting.' Bought an Echo Dot to pair with one of my other Bose speakers. Didn't like the fact that the speakers went into standby after 20 minutes - wanted to be able to talk to the Dot and have it answer any time. Tried a UE Boom 2 because supposedly it stays on all the time when plugged in, but it was really not the right solution for an indoor, quality sound application. So i just broke down and bought this Soundtouch 20. Ahhhh...finally...quality sound. NO, it's not audiophile quality, but the sound represents compromises that maximize the small form factor. And it will play my Dot....and yes, it shuts down after 20 minutes but at least there's a remote to turn it on...or the app on my iPhone...or the app on my computer. And the 6 presets are awesome for playing my Amazon music or iHeart Radio. It pairs nicely with the Dot. Alas, I ramble. If you are thinking about buying one, just do it.

This small unit is so much better than the outdated alarm clock unit. The sound is a tad better and it has the modern features.

When I first bought the speaker I was a little disappointed because of the music service. But I later on found out that it will do more than I thought. It can connect to any music service on your phone. Even on your computer. The primary Sountouch, TuneIn service is via Wi-Fi. But you can connect any other music service through bluetooth. If you have Windows Media Player. You can connect your computer to the speaker. You just have to download the app. It has wonderful sound and can even be used outside on a rain free day. Nothing interferes with the clear sound that it has.

We purchased this wireless sound system/speakers to replace our old wired set. We are very happy with a purchase. Bose has a number of lower end models but they do not sound as good and clear as this one. Love the ability to just pick a playlist from our phones and wirelessly connect to this unit and play the songs. The only problem is that there are 4 of us and only one Bose unit so we are always fighting for speaker time.

I've had this speaker for several months now. The sound is phenomenal as would be expected from Bose. BUT the app for setting this speaker up on a home router is fickle and is frustrating to use. I really wanted to use it with wifi and not just bluetooth. It is essentially an expensive bluetooth speaker or I have use the aux input-just tried un-install of the app and re-install as a last ditch effort-no luck. Mac users: If you're fine with not having the wifi option-or if you're the techie type and don't mind spending lot of time getting everything up and going (I happen to prefer the easy set up stuff) then it's a fair buy I guess. I'm disappointed though because I own and have owned many Bose products and want them all to work well-AND be easy to use. I wanted to give this speaker more stars but there are a lot of bluetooth only speakers out there that sound great for less money and I wish I had gone that route now.

I absolutely love............... my new Bose speaker. I received it as a birthday gift and it sounds great!!!!! It is wireless and has Bluetooth and the sound is very rich for a small speaker.

This unit has all the sound you can handle. I found the setup to be very easy. Pairing was easy. Great sound. My only complaint is that Sirius and Spotify require an upgrade to the service to be utilized on the Soudtouch 20. Otherwise I'd rate it a 5.

impressed with the sound quality but then again that BOSE for you! Can't wait to get the theater system so I can connect more.

Did get the 10 and liked it. Toke back to get the next size bigger 20. Lot more sound.

For the 1-1/2 years of its life, this was an excellent system. Great sound quality, seamless Bluetooth. Listened to favorite radio stations from all over the country with wireless. But then it just died. Would not turn on. When I checked customer forums online, and when I brought it to be repaired, I found that this is a common problem. Repair was not worth the price. I will purchase a new system...NOT a Bose.

Awful connection issues, constantly need to update the app on phone, tuner is limited to 6 presets, remote has to be directly facing the system and to be honest the Bose colour was much better and bang for your buck! If we hadn't already had it for a year I would be returning it!

Doesn't work as advertised. We had no difficulty accessing our iTunes library, but due to a software flaw, the SoundTouch is unable to properly shuffle iTunes playlists. Instead of shuffling all tracks, the software shuffles tracks only from 4-5 albums. According to the Bose user message board, this is a software defect that has been unresolved since August. We're very disappointed; the sound quality of the unit is good, and it works well with Spotify, Pandora, and internet radio. Without the ability to play iTunes music, however, it doesn't do what we bought it for. We will have to return the SoundTouch and look for a product that works as advertised.
