Sounds great and didn’t have to purchase a sub

This little thing is deceiving. Can’t believe the sound and clarity that comes out of this soundbar. I was told I need to purchase a bose subwoofer for this as an option ( proprietary). Glad I didn’t. Ended up using an old active subwoofer and a stereo headphone jack to RCA and the subs just worked. This speaker in combination with a subwoofer makes it feel like a big system. Pricey but you get what you pay for and I think it’s worth buying it

Beautiful sound, soundtouch could use some updates

This soundbar is the most pleasant thing to look at with the slim profile and beautiful glass top. It packs a huge punch and is truly a full surround soundbar. The dedicated center channel makes it easy to make out even the smallest whispers. I could go on and on about the nerdy side of the soundbar, but there is a couple things that I should touch on. 1. There is no soundbar mount included. The mount is so small ,they should have thrown it in the box for free. 2. No 3.5 mm connection. I used an adapter from optical to 3.5mm which worked fine, but it could be a problem for others, considering I needed it to hook up my chromecast audio.... which brings me to my last complaint. 3. Soundtouch app needs to be updated to support more music streaming platforms, such as google play music. The app is pretty easy to use and I haven't had connectivity problems, only when using it to turn the soundbar on. Set up took quite a while through the app, so save some time out of your day to get it all hooked up. Overall if you're looking for a soundbar that isn't an eyesore and sounds amazing, this is a great way to go. I put this one in my room since there isn't a lot of bass to it, I suggest getting the sub, it really makes a huge difference in a large setting. (I keep a martin logan vision in my living room, which has a lot of bass, so that's what I'm comparing the bass to.). Haven't tried any soundtouch speakers for whole home connectivity but maybe in the future!

    best sound bar EVER

So, I needed a sound bar for my sony 75" bravia 4K tv. When I bought the tv they mentioned I might need a sound-bar but I thought they were just trying to "add" something else to my purchase so I declined. Well, after a year and not being able to hear conversations I finally decided to get a sound-bar. I did alot of research, compared the two best in the market; sonos and bose. I have had many products of bose's over the years and they always worked, were of high build quality and were always the most revolutionary. So, I tried to give a fair comparison but when it came down to the appearance of the two devices there was no comparison - I chose Bose. It just looks amazing with the black gloss finish and complements my TV. Now, once I have it installed, which was so easy. I used the HDMI passthrough built into the TV and it just worked. The TV, Apple TV, PS4Pro, WiiU and laptop all played through the Bose. The sound is amazing and gives the allusion of a surround system.

This unit is very expensive, but I would purchase it again because it is far superior to other sound bars on the market. I am a little hard of hearing and I am able to understand even the softest of voices in the programming. The music reproduction is spot on and extremely great quality. I paired it with the base unit which makes it a complete sound package.

Love how this fits perfectly under our TV, makes it all look like one piece. The sound is amazing no matter where I sit in my living room. I also love how you can set it up on it's own HDMI so that my Genie remote can control the sound bar too! Was pretty easy to set up and comes with what you need to calibrate the sound bar to get superior surround sound!

Great sound bar!!!Excellent Bass Module! Highly Recommend! I have been humbled – and now must eat my own words. I previously wrote a very positive review for the Bose Soundtouch 300 Soundbar, and included the following words, “You can add an optional wireless bass module and wireless surround speakers to achieve a full 5.1 home theater experience

Wanted to get something that was initially better than the standard TV speaker. This is perfect with a great design factor & sound quality. Considered Sonos but it did not have Bluetooth only WiFi connectivity. Very portable for those occasional uses like outside entertainment. Like the expansion capabilities with sub & wireless satellite speakers

This product lives up to the Bose reputation. Very easy to setup and connect to WiFi /BT. Sound quality is superb. Speakers seem to bounce sound off walls for a true surround type feeling. Sound quality is excellent even as you crank the volume. Bass is very impressive for stand alone device but I plan to add the sub at some point.

Sounds amazing! Previously owned the klipsch sound bar and upgraded to the bose. Love that it has such a sleek design so it's a classy look vs something big and awkwardly sitting on my stand. Sound is out of this world! I originally decided to purchase just the sound bar and not the sub. Sounds phenomenal. I would highly recommend spending the extra money and getting the sub because it makes a huge difference. Even without though the clarity of the sound fills the room so well. I felt the setup overall was simple it just took me a bit to figure it out. Once you know what your doing smooth sailing. I did not know initially that you have to have internet in order for it to work. Not a problem for me but for some it may be a deal breaker. Highly recommend.

I was looking at the Sonos system initially. I thought the Bose system was out of my price range. I was shocked to find that the complete system was less expensive than the Sonos. The system was easy to set up and get running. I am looking forward to adding the subwoofer soon.

Just as so many others have said, the look of the sound bar is sleek and I appreciate the glass top to be able to keep it clean and maintain the sleek appearance. The sound? I LOVE IT!! By itself, even just watching TV has a clearer sound but I also bought a pair of the 300 Wireless speakers for surround sound with movies and couldn’t be happier! I like how I can continue to add to the system as finances allow but have an amazing little system until then and couldn’t be happier to get rid of the wires for the rear speakers (I have electrical outlets behind my couch so they are indeed fully “wireless” for me)

I am a fan of bose products and this soundbar doesnt disappoint. Easy to setup and the sound is amazing. I have tried other soundbars and none can hold a candle to this. Especially when paired with the subwoofer. My man cave is now like a private movie theater.

The setup was fairly straightforward. I was up and running within 15 minutes. There were no issues whatsoever, that is, until I updated the software. Then nothing. It took me almost the whole evening to figure out what was wrong with it. I reset the software changed a few settings on my TV and then I was finally up and running again. It turns on and off with no issues. The Bluetooth to iPhone connectivity has its fits but a quick reboot usually solves the problem. The sound is better than a lot of other soundbars but It doesn't sound as good as the model displayed in store. Then again, I only bought the soundbar itself and not the accompanying bass module. Is it worth the price tag of $699? It could be priced lower. Just remember though, you are paying for the Bose name.

Okay so, this thing is magnificent in my opinion. Shoutout to Bose on this one. I bought the Bar alone without the Acoustimass to replace an old Sony HT-CT150. The demo in the store made me laugh but using it at home is even more tremendous. The thing is awesome man. I immediately connected to the bluetooth to stream music, because really, that's the true test on any Soundbar, as they tend to do a good job with movies and such. The undistorted bass it produces is impressive for the bar alone, I'll probably add the Acoustimass down the road once we move to our permanent home shortly, as there was some shortcomings bass-wise while playing Drake's "Hype." By no means a deal-breaker at all so don't let that bother you if you're reading this review. Now for TV, Netflix, Blu-rays and such the thing is perfect man. First Take was on and when they switched the graphic on the TV it makes a sound and I snapped my head around because I heard the sound coming from my left, so far from the bar it seemed impossible I had to rewind it and it happened again. It deserves five stars for that alone. That was sick. BUY THIS!!! The ARC works fine. A little bit of a delay once you first turn it on. I'm using a 2011 Samsung UN55D6900 in my bedroom. I'll connect it to my KS8000 soon just to see if the delay is still there, but once it starts it's so dope. I just bought it today and had to write this review. I'll play with it some more. Thanks Bose!!

The soundbar is easy to set up, the remote has some great features, and we really like the app. Love that I can use it not only with the TV, but can connect via phone/tablet as well. The sound is clear, and seems to be coming from all parts of the room.

Got the Samsung 950k Dolby atomos, ended up being terrible. 24 blurays in existence which support the atmos sound. When watching 5.1 STD the rear speaker just make a hissing noise and work as stereo. Returned and got the SONOS bar. Set up took literally over an hour and the system was very outdated unless you're getting it for music only. Went back for the finally time to check the Bose system out. Loved it right off the bat. The bass is nice and deep. The soundbar is sleek and sounds great. Rear speakers put out great sound for little guys. The Bose app is a must!! Very cool and useful especially if you're looking to eventually buy more speakers and do a multi room sound
