I hated these... From day one they did not fit in my ear....consequently the sound was bad unless i pushed on them and held them in my ear. I also like having an in-line control for pause music, etc

Like how I don't have to worry about them falling out of my ears but they allow too much background noise.

Tried these instead of Dr. Dre Beats because of the Bose name fame. A bit disappointed. They felt uncomfortable in the ear even with the three size adapters. I ended up returning for the the Dr. Dre Beats after all.

I cannot differentiate the sound quality from this Bose to the Apple earbuds. I also notice my ears start hurting after 30 minutes of wearing this.

These were so much less comfortable and quality than other headphones at the same price. Not good. Not good at all. Expected SO MUCH more from Bose.

Good headset but does not come with mic. You can listen to music can not use with phone.

The ear buds come in 3 sizes and the still do not fit properly. Have to turn volume up to experience true sound. Plan to return.

I travel a lot for work and these headphones are very nice to travel with. They come with a carrying case that I can fit my iPod and headphones in to keep them from being tangled somewhere in my bag. The sound from these is amazing. You can really feel the bass right in your ear! The ear phone is fitted with a small silicone piece that prevents it from falling out of your ear and has 3 different sizes included to fit comfortably in any size ear. Highly recommend these ear phones!

Below average compared to other Bose products out there in market

I was a little skeptical of paying so much for a pair of ear buds, even Bose ones, but they are truly worth it. I'm pretty hard on head phones/ear buds in general and I've bought several different brands and styles over the years. I've had the supposed sport buds and others that are only half the price and they rarely lasted more than a few months before sound goes out in one of the sides or the wiring starts to come apart.. This is my second pair of these, the first pair lasted nearly two years before they started showing wear and tear - and even then, the quality was still decent. I would highly recommend them.

Cord length is long enough for me at 6' tall. Fits comfortably in ear and eliminates most outside noise. Sound is decent but nothing special. Problem I have though, and one that I consider a major flaw, is how loud the volume will go. I don't like to blast my music, but when the occasional song comes on that is not loud enough, I would like to be able to adjust high enough to hear. I can comfortably listen to music with Bose at max volume. I have owned two different models and used two different phones, both had the same outcome. I will likely keep these, as I am sick of exchanging, but will not purchase Bose again.

I have bought many different earbuds and headphones over the years and never had a pair of Bose due to the cost. I can honestly say that I regret not buying Bose because in the end I would have saved money ! Bose is the only earbuds you will ever want. These have such amazing sound and the comfort factor is really a bonus. You will hardly even tell that you have them on. I highly recommend getting a pair. If you get them half off like I did then even better, but that deal will be hard to find. Even at full price they are worth it though.

I've had my original set for over a year, and they go EVERYWHERE with me. I've all but worn them out. Not because they are made poorly...they are NOT. They are QUALITY. It's just because, well, I use them ALL the time. I am excited as I've just found my husband is getting me a new set for Christmas. GREAT sound quality, and my Fav thing? They STAY PUT! When I'm working in the yard - they don't budge. At the Gym? Nope. They don't go anywhere. Cooking in the kitchen? You guessed it! they stay in place. Walking, running, resting, ....they get the job done with excellent sound quality. So, summing it up,...comfortable, Quality, GREAT sound, and they rival the energizer bunny for going on, and on, and on (even after they should've admitted defeat from my unintentional overuse and abuse).....I am ECSTATIC I will be getting a new set for Christmas. COME ON SANTA! =)

My over ears are Sony mdr 7506, Bose AE2 and Audio-Technica ATH-M50x bl. I have owned or tested Klipsch 4s, 2s and R6i, Shure S215, apple pods and a few others. The Bose Soundtrues have great bass, mids and trebble. You will enjoy your music. Make sure you try all the stay put tips for the best fit (seal). They don't go in the ear canel so they all fit but one will give you a better seal and stronger bass. You won't be disappointed. And I paid for these. Worth the money? Yes. Now the best part. Comfort level is no contest with any other ear bud. You will forget you have them in your ear.

I have to admit I'm partial to the Bose brand. I got these for my father for Christmas because he hates the in-the-ear earbuds. The sound is impeccable and it fits easy and comfortably into the ear. I also liked the color choices but stuck with the black.

Bought these for our 17yr old son for Christmas. He loves them! They have excellent sound and the fit is very comfortable while being secure during his basketball practices.

I define "audiophile" not as someone who has "golden ears" who has hearing superior to that of the general populace, but more as an audio enthusiast. I'm the latter. Pardon the format of my review which I outlined in Evernote and pasted below BASS not "basshead" or "mega bass" earphones (thank god) a bit warm, but not overly so as with many lower-end throw-away 'phones bass is well-contained and not too reverbrant UPDATE bass seems a little excessive on tracks with heavy bass, e.g. 311 tracks, but is acceptable MIDS vocals are forward, clear, distinct and well distinguished from each other when there are two vocalists singing simultaneously HIGHS polite, though probably not the most detailed, but overall I can't really tell UPDATE A little sibilant- high hats hiss a little, but not too bad OVERALL CONSTRUCTION robust and exudes quality overall confidence-inspiring robust cable, robust cable "y" splitter and cable cinch PROPRIETARY EAR PIECES design which I think will received mixed reactions doesn't have a definite, obvious fit as do ear canal earphones / in ear monitors so it never feels completely secure or insecure, but you get used to it the open-air design works well and gives a more "natural" sound or good soundstage, meaning it sounds more similar a live music performance than listening to a sound underwater/in a vacuum PACKAGING clever, tamper-proof, leaves no question re whether the package has been opened or not FOR TELEPHONE HEADSET USE Here is where this product loses not one but two stars- there is no inline microphone at all Yes, I know that the iOS and Samsung OS versions of this product has inline microphones, but I use neither OS and didn't want inline controls at all My Etymotic HF5's include an inline mic as do many other earphones, and Bose could easily have included one here, but obviously they chose not to the open-air nature of these earphones would have made them a perfect headset as you can hear both your conversant and yourself as you would if you were speaking in person, but without an inline mic, that can't happen very bad decision on Bose's part CONCLUSION the sound signature is a little V-shaped but mildly, acceptably so sound signature is overall close enough to neutral Bose did a good job of trying to make everyone happy with these, audiophiles and non-audiophiles alike these are worth a look from audiophiles esp if you can accept that they cannot serve as a headset

I know Bose makes only quality product, I'm a long time customer. These headphones have good middle and high frequency response, but when used during cycling, they don't isolate the wind noise as much as my other in-ear headphones. The bass response is not very strong, so I boosted bass using my iPod's equalizer but noticed a bit of distortion in some songs. I'll be returning them. They do stay in place well though, as far as fitting the ear.
