The mic also didn't work as the calls were too distorted. The headphones also failed to mute out the speakers while trying to use with an Asus laptop. Item was returned and haven't decided which brand to go with next.

I had always wanted Bose phones, so I ordered them right away. Best Buy delivery was very fast. I own several other brands and price ranges of headphones and had hoped these would be an upgrade. They are well constructed and looked nice. Once I plugged them in though, I was very disappointed. The sound seemed muddy and dull. I tried to tweak my audio settings, but no luck. Nothing seemed to help. These would never be my "go to" phones. Sadly, I returned these for a refund. IMHO, Bose headphones are very overrated.

Poor sound. I would have returned them but they were a gift and past the return policy.
