I went through multiple brands and models before I found the one I enjoyed. yes, it wired, I'm usually a Bluetooth guy, but got tired of re-charging every time. Plus, having wired I don't have to think about the wireless giving me headaches. I've had Bose in the past and have not regretted buying them. They feel comfortable in the ear, but after awhile the buds hurt your ears. Hey the sound alone is worth it.

I love love love these earphones; They get the perfect loudness- which at first was a little too low, but honestly they are super loud and it forced me to listen at a better volume. And it works wonders anyway because the noise blocking is very good. And they are very comfortable and stick in my ear when I workout.

I got a great deal on these with the use of a Best Buy Rewards certificate and it being on sale at the same time. The short on these is it can isolate the sound of the music into your ears canceling out everything happening around you. The one drawback is the wires can be a bit noisy while you are walking or doing some activity that requires movement. Other than that a great pair of mid-priced earbuds.
