The person you are talking to hears static and can't understand you. The state I frequent has hands free law, so not happy that they are not good for the reason they were purchased.

As far as pure SQ, these sound a slight bit better than the ANC version in overall frequency extension throughout the range. The downside, obviously, is they are semi-open and don't cancel out any noise. They are perfect for the gym where I do need to maintain some awareness. Great, fun sounding earbuds. 100% recommend.
