The Bose - Sport Open Earbuds showcase Bose's ability to make some really great sounding products, without even covering or going into your ears these earbuds are able to put out some amazing sound. They are able to allow outside sounds to remain clear so that you can be aware of your environment while working out and still be able to enjoy your music which is great in my opinion. Outside of the sound quality, everything else seems to fall apart for these earbuds, the overall design of the earbuds is horrible and with the exception of my 10-year-old niece, these did not fit comfortably on anyone that tested them in my family. If you wear glasses these may not even be possible to wear without extreme discomfort. The carrying case is gigantic and wouldn't fit in almost anyone's pockets and doesn't even include charging capabilities like most other big-name earbuds, you instead have to charge them on the separate charger that comes with them. The included charger is also very large making it mostly impractical to carry around with you if you want to charge up the earbuds throughout the day. Overall these are some amazing sounding earbuds but because of all the other issues I just wouldn't recommend them to anyone, they aren't even comfortable enough to wear for a short workout yet alone if you want to use them throughout the day. They manage to be durable and have amazing sound quality all while being unusable which is really just a shame.

I was hoping to give this as gift but they never worked out of the box. The only thing it did was have glowing continuous white light. I attempted to upgrade the firmware as instructed by the website but this even failed to complete and got stuck at 99%. I will be returning them for full refund.

The Bose Sport Open Earbuds are awesome for those who live the active lifestyle. The fit is good and they definitely stay in place. At first, they seem a bit odd when you try and put them on but if you follow the instructions you will get the hang of it. I didn’t experience them falling off or anything while jogging and doing my workout in the gym. Normally, my ear buds will fall out during a workout. With these, you don’t have to worry about that since they are over ear and not in ear headphones. Connecting the headphones via Bluetooth was easy. The included quick start guide gives you all the info you need from connecting the device to proper fit of the headphones. When it comes to setting the headphones up you will need to use the Bose Music app which works great. It will walk you through the process. Finally, sound quality. These open ear headphones sound good and they do what they are supposed to do. Which is, stay on your ears so you can listen to music and workout uninterrupted. The main downside of these headphones is that the bass is lacking. I’m guessing it has something to do with how they sit over the ear. So, you will not get any thumping bass from these. The bass is there it’s just not as prominent as other headphone styles. Overall, if you want some quality workout headphones, that actually stay on, then go with these!

The worst Bose products ever purchase. Stay away waste of time.

Absolutely terrible. I've been using the older Bose SoundSport for years without issue. The new Sport Open model drops music when working out, even walking. Ended up going back to the my old set.

I blown away at how much I like these headphones! Pretty much all the negative things I've read don't really pertain to me. They are the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I don't even notice they're on sometimes. I thought it was weird they didn't have any foam since they are over ear, but it doesn't make any difference to their comfort and it makes way more sense in terms of dealing with sweat and moisture. It also makes them easy to clean, especially since they are water resistant. I don't like having things in my ear and I've yet to find a clip on style headphone that is both comfortable and stays on my ears. These headphones somehow do both and as far as I can tell, they're the only headphones like it that are also truly wireless. The quick controls are also really convenient. The sound is really on par with other Bose products. It sounds really good and clear, and not muddy or muffled like a lot of clip-ons do. People may complain about the lack of bass, but with this type of headphone I don't expect huge punchy bass. The bass is adequate and when I was listening to bass-heavy music, I didn't feel like I was missing out. I know it's a blanket review system for headphones, but it's a bit unfair of Amazon to include a "noise cancellation" rating for these since that isn't what they're designed to do. The one complaint I could think of is the poor battery. I can probably get around 4 to 5 hours and not the advertised 8 hours. Also the lack of a charging case is a bit of an oversight in my opinion. The good thing however, is that from a completely dead battery, I was able to charge the headphones in almost exactly 1 hour and not the 2 that the product states which is honestly amazing. Overall, I would definitely recommend these headphones if you're someone like me who doesn't like having things in their ears and wants a truly wireless experience.
