      Hello,

Thanks for your feedback on the Sport Open Earbuds. These are designed to be compatible with typical helmets, glasses, sunglasses, and earrings.

You're right in observing the Earbuds have a battery life of up to 8 hours. When not using the headphones, you need these placed on the charging dock or ensured to have powered down correctly. Press and hold the button on the right earbud for 1 second. Release the button when
you hear the power-down tone or see the status lights blink white twice. Alongside this you can set an Auto - Off feature in the Bose Music app to place your headphones into standby.

If you need any further assistance with this, do not hesitate to reach out to your local Bose product support team.

Sound is good, fit is good but can become uncomfortable with the ear loops being bigger. Unfortunately battery life is not consistent as sometimes even after having a full charge i grab them for a workout and they are dead as well as not an even charge between the 2 at times. Ive exchanged my previous pair hoping maybe mine just became defective but the 2nd pair are the same way. Touch sensitivity for volume control is nice, however can be triggered to easily due to overhead motions or even shoulder elevation.

Hi, it's great to see you like the sound and fit of the earbuds.
We would recommend if you feel any discomfort while wearing the earbuds, adjust how far back you’ve rotated the earbud when checking the fit. Tips on getting a good fit can be found here https://bose.life/3pROPNc.

Battery life is rated up to 8 hours at normal listening levels. If you find you're experiencing less than this then try lowering your music volume. As higher volumes will decrease the battery faster.

The charge is not long enough and the technology is lacking for BOSE. I have a pair of Beats Pro Cordless earbuds and enjoy the features like a charging case, long battery life, and it automatically turns on and off out of the case and your ears. The main reason I choose to wear these earbuds is for outside running. They are fairly comfortable, stay put, and most of all I can hear outside noises. Also, I like not having a plug in my ear. The volume control is a bonus, but I find that my fly away hairs some times trigger the volume to rise.

I really enjoy the headphones but it’s only good for working out. I bought them to run outside with the abolitionist to hear my surroundings. They stay on through all kinds of workout and even sweating. I didn’t give 5 stars because they are uncomfortable when not working out so I would not really use it as my main Bluetooth headphones. They do work great for music, phone calls and is very clear.

I don’t say the sound is for everyone but it is very every interesting. Hearing such powerful music and not feeling anything in your ears is a fascinating experience. Of course there’s no insulation and the sound is not the richest. Great call quality, too. The fit is not for everyone though: I keep my earphones on for hours and after a while they hurt at the pressure point, plus when you actually work out and get sweaty they don’t stay on well anymore and it’s hard to put them back on once removed.

Better than in ear, earphones or bone conductive headsets. The sound is amazing and despite the shape of it, once you wear it for a while, you forget you have something on your ears because they are so light and designed for comfort. The sound quality obviously cannot be compared with bose on ear headphone that cover your entire ear but not far from it. The highs and lows are decent and the base is amazingly adequate. The only thing as reviewd by others is the charging device which I wished was cased with additional power bank for on the go occasions, otherwise the average battery life is about 6 to 8 hours on continuous usage and need to actually get plugged in to recharge. They're made of high quality material as I accidentally have dropped them on stone floors without suffering any damage. Overall, I am very happy with this device and will never go back to uncomfortable, shoved in earphones or ear heating headphones. I can wear them wherever I go and be aware of my surroundings while enjoying music or having clear crisp phone conversations with clients or friends. This on ear device is what I have been looking and waiting for, for a long time and was glad that Bose frontiered such innovative and amazing technology that supercede my expectations.

IF YOU WEAR GLASSES, TRY THESE ON BEFORE YOUR PURCHASE!!! I received these as a present last night and will be returning them for something else. The good. All the sound clarity and quality you could expect from BOSE. The respond well to base, but because they are not in-the-ear buds, the lack bass (expected). Truly superb quality, makes your feel like you are in the music. I especially like that you can hear everything around and the music at the same time. They would be good for running and cycling. The bad. I really, really wanted these to work, but the ear hook conflicts with all of my glasses, even my wrap around sunglasses. A lot of reviewers have stated the same issue. Bose is aware of the problem and has provided direction to several reviewers, The issue is that the ear buds, press your glass frames into your head which (in my case) becomes very painfull. I could only take it about 45 minutes. Bottom line, These are great for active people who are looking for quality sound, need be hear ambient noises around them, but don't wear glasses. I really wich they worked for me.

      Hey there,
I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the open ear design and the quality of the sound.
I'm sorry to hear that you are finding the earbuds uncomfortable with your glasses. We recommend putting the buds on before your glasses to ensure a more comfortable fit. We also have a video here: https://bose.life/3a4WcHU, that helps with placement of the earbuds.

Open ear design is awesome. But these are not one size fits all and a few other cons that other reviewers have mentioned. BOSE PLEASE LISTEN you have what it takes to create the best earbuds. BOSE please consider this, you already have what you need, remember when you introduced the wired IE earbuds with the 1st generation stay hear tips. They were and still are the most comfortable ear tips that provide very good sound and feel like they are open ear. With today's technology you could reintroduce the IE2 as a wireless earbud. Samsung's galaxy buds live pack a whole lot into a very compact package including the charging case, but they lack the comfort that your stay hear tips provide. Please create an IE2 wireless earbud with stay hear tips and with all the features as the galaxy buds live, touch controls, independent earbud use, small discreet size and a compact charging case. You can leave out noise canceling, that doesn't work that well any way and not needed in open ear design. Or maybe even collaborate with Samsung to include your sound expertise and the most comfortable eartips in the world.

These headphones are perfect 4 the gym. They don't block out all sounds which is great, you want 2 be in touch with your surroundings. Only problem u must get the Bose app w/o it the volume controls change when u receive/make calls. It was hard 2 hear the call on the street. & I wish they had a charging case, that's a little annoying when charging. But overall a high quality made device.

The sound quality is WONDERFUL. It is a good fit. They don't fall off while performing the flat bench press. However, I haven't tried running with them yet. They are sweat resistant. However, there is no equalizer in the app. Battery life is garbage. I charged them over night, at least for 6hrs. I turned them on for my work out after my 12hr shift and only the right here came on and it was at 70%. The left ear was completely dead. I now have to use my portable charger to charge them on my last break so that they can be ready for my work out. After a 2hr workout they are at 70%. The case should have been a charging case like the Planatronics that is now off the market. The left button only tells the battery status. The right button does too much. When I want to skip a song, I have to hold the earbud and press the button. If I don't hold the earbud, the button won't go in. Because I have to constantly keep them on the charger, If the charging cord is damage, I will have to buy another set of earbuds because there is nothing that I can buy separately. They cannot connect to two devices at the same time.

I'm 68 years old and I researched several brand earbuds and I decided to buy the Bose Sport open earbuds. They were delivered today and I was so happy with the sound and how comfortable they are around my ears. After I install them manually on my iPhone 12 promax I could not control the volume by tapping the earbuds. I call Bose and I spoke to a wonderful girl by the name of Charlotte, who walked me through step-by-step of installing the earbuds through the Bose Music App. When you install the earbuds through the Bose app you're able to download the software and you have full access with the settings to control the volume through the app and also allow the Bose earbuds volumes to be controlled by tapping. Since I'm not using these for 8 hours every day and I want to put the earbuds in a case without charging since they might have 70% power left. I was told not to keep charging a battery until it runs down. So for me the few hours I'm going to use them each day to put them back in the charging case when there's still more than 50% power is not practical.

I think these are a great set of headphones because you can hear everything going on around you and if your running in the street that is good and safer. The only thing I don’t like is that the run out of battery fast after a couple days. The other thing is that you can’t control the volume on them so you have to use your phone for that.

Ugh these are right there so close to perfect. They sound great, I would say the battery life is great . They’re not to heavy but I SO WISHH they would of made them thinner and out of a flexible plastic. These would be so perfect I use these for work, we are only allowed to use open ear head phones. The after shocks hurt my ears. I was hoping I was going to love these. Only if the back wasn’t so thick it’s a weird fit.

I’ll preface this by letting you know I’m a Bose fanboy but can be critical of their products (Soundlink Color???). That said, these are one of their best new releases since the Home Speaker 500. There’s nothing else like these on the market right now. My notes follow: -They pair via Bluetooth. The right button is click (not hold) to turn on. For everyone who has accidentally turned on pairing mode not knowing how long to hold the button, these are for you :) -Siri works with the left button. -Click to play/pause, double click forward, triple click back -They go on like glasses and then spin into place. They magically dangle from the top of your ears but somehow don’t come off no matter how much you jump around or try to shake them off. -The sound quality is mind-blowing considering they’re above your ear hole. The bass is very strong and the signature Bose sound is there. Don’t know how they did it, but they did. Spatial awareness is pretty good but they definitely drown out external noise if you have them up loud. -Compared to bone-conducting Aeropex Air, there’s no contest when it comes to sound. The Aftershokz will definitely give you a little bit more spatial awareness and are lighter but at this point, I’ll only use them for podcasts, if I use them at all. -Sound leak is minimal, but it’s there. In a quiet room about three feet away, my wife was able to tell I was listening to “rock” when I was playing some The Ramones but couldn’t at all make out what it was. You can faintly hear the hi-hat/cymbals/snare at ample volumes. -The charging dock is magnetic. Strong magnets. -These are definitely waterproof. I wore mine out in the blizzard we just had while snowblowing. They didn’t miss a beat. -The plastic is easy to clean; no grippy/rubbery/soft textured materials on these. That’s all I can think of right now. I preordered these and am really glad I did. I don’t like to stick headphones in my ears unless they’re super clean (and I’ve been slipping on the hygiene front a bit during the pandemic) so these are an excellent way to get my music on “less clean” days. Highest recommendation. Great job, Bose!

Great concept, not so great design. These suckers HURT and are really inconvenient if you wear glasses. I love the fact that they are outside of your ear BUT because the back is so huge, they literally push your glasses out and don't sit right. These would be way better if the behind the ear part came with smaller, interchangable parts so you can switch them out. If you dont wear glasses - get them; if you do - avoid these...
