Great back grounds for movies

Well if watch YouTube reviews don't believe everything you hear. The speakers work great have great sound and are adjustable if you install the bose app. The app is the key to success I set the rear speakers to 7 or 8 and hello!!!! Black hawk down I had bullets flying over my head. Great movie for testing this complete system! Great Product *****

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these with sound touch 300 and bass module. Soundbar was top notch. Bass module was average but the rear speakers were just simply disappointing. Other reviewers noted lack of volume adjustment ability and limited volume - my experience backs that up. When I returned the full Bose set and got a full blown 5.1 system it was simply night and day. Absolutely no comparison. That's a little unfair as a 5.1 should always outperform a soundbar but the cost of the full BOSE setup is close enough to a decent 5.1 that not going the incremental is a mistake unless you simply can't handle the 5,1 space requirements (which can be quite small). The incremental money we spent for 5.1 versus the quantum leap in sound quality, power and performance made returning the Bose product a no-brainer (and I'm a BOSE fan with numerous other BOSE purchases made)

On initial setup, the speakers are very quiet. Bose fixed this by allowing adjustment via the app. I turned up the volume on the rear speakers and lowered the center channel using the app. Also it is necessary to calibrate the speakers using the Bose calibration headset. I wasn't getting great acoustics until I completed the calibration.

Great Sound

The speakers must be mounted strategically to the position you are watching TV & need setting up with the Bose ADAPTIQ to maximise their full potential, excellent quality speakers as you would expect from BOSE. Hesitant to buy them at first because of price but no regrets now.
