    Wireless with wires

If i would've known virtually wireless meant plugging them in across the room with wires coming out of them I wouldn't have bought them. They do plug into electrical outlets across the room but still have to still hide wires hanging them on walls or ceilings. Have to purchase universal stands to hide wires another $100. Sound is ok, no equalizer adjustment, only hear treble no bass. For the price could have been a better product. I normally love bose wasn't impressed with the 300 Sound bar without the bass $1700. Invested should have reviewed more before buying.

When I bought the system I expected big sound from these speakers, but am really disappointed in the overall output. Work ok for the surround experience, but should have more.

Great sound but forces U2 buy overpriced bracket

Very pleased with the overall sound, but offended by the fact that Bose forces you to use their proprietary wall mount bracket instead of including the universal screw option. Also, to make matters worse, Bose sells the brackets separately. So although you can only purchase these speakers as a pair, you must pay an overpriced cost for two separate brackets. Unbelievable! Anyway, despite the nice sound I would not recommend these speakers. There are plenty of competitors that offer comparably rated products, without gouging you again on the brackets.

The Geek Squad tried everything but no sound came out from the connection to my Sharp Aquos TV so they were returned. My TV works great but I was not going to buy a new TV for them to work.

      Hello!

I appreciate you have returned the speakers but I'd love to provide some information in case you would like to try the surround speakers again! These surround speakers are designed to be connected to one of our soundbars. You wouldn't be able to connect them directly to your TV.

If you wanted to use these surround speakers with your TV, you would need to connect them to one of the Smart Soundbar 300, Soundbar 500, or Soundbar 700. The soundbar would connect to your TV and send the audio to the rear speakers.

      I hope this helps!

      Hello,

These Surround Speakers work with the following the Bose Smart Soundbar 300, 500, 600, 700, & 900. Our older SoundTouch 300 is also compatible with them. Outside of those Soundbars they would not be compatible with our other products.

If you have any questions about compatibility, please reach out to us (https://bose.life/38DNELy) with your questions.

Bought these along with the Bose sound bar and Subwoofer thinking it would complete the surround sound system. They're kind of hard to hear at times, but overall a decent set of speakers.

Too small, not good sound, way too much wiring as well as huge rectangular receivers ugly eye sore, (think thats what they are called, anyway) had Geek squad come out still couldn't get any quality sound and since this is the only speakers that will work with this system took entire system back went with sonos! Happy now good sound easy to set up not like Bose very difficult to use app. All sonos speakers are comparable with their system!

      Hello Wood!

Thank you for the review of the Virtually Invisible 300 wireless rear speakers. Just to confirm, these speakers do still need power and requires being connected to your main electrical outlet at all times. We understand that a cord might limit your options as far as placement, to help with that, we have included approximately 20 feet of speaker wire. If you have any further questions or need troubleshooting steps, please feel free to contact our Bose technical support line for assistance. You can get contact information located on the Bose website.

Thank you again and take great care.

It was very hard to hear the sound coming out. Speakers are wireless but at the end of the day you have to wire cables to make them work. The poor sound was something that I didn’t expect.

The small speakers add some to the tv experience, however they are very limited in range due to their small size. When comparing them to my main home theatre surrounds, they miss the mark. For adding "some" surround sounds and having a small footprint, they work for that. Be aware that these small speakers have to be hooked up to a larger wireless receiver/amp that has to be hidden.

Subtle, relatively inconspicuous surround speakers (if you have a good way to hide the small brick of an amplifier used to connect each speaker). Maintains good connection with the soundbar.
