Found out after buying that you need additional items for these to even work. I was a day late returning and Best Buy would not return them. This is a lot of $ for a disabled person to lose out. Now with the smaller sizes and even better sound I would recommend them to anyone who appreciates quality sound whether it's music or a surround sound for your home theater. Volume is at time very very low! Being that it is wireless connection, the sound seems to lag a bit. However, it works well with the Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar and the the Acoustimass 300!

The configuration headset makes setup a snap and the app enables you to fine tune it (have seen multiple reviews complaining about the volume of the surround speakers, the app fixes that!). Overall great sound and easy setup!

If you have already bought SoundTouch 300 System, you might not experience the complete surround sound with the soundbar. Adding this one to your home will make you hear the complete surround sound. These aren't a game changer but too off an already impressive system. They don't exactly crank out sound they just complete the package. If you have the other two components you should get these to round things out and have everything there is.

I saw in other reviews about these speakers not having volume control. I do think that is a shortcoming of these as there are times that I'd like the ability to make adjustments. Quality of sound is great.

However, these speakers 1) do not work without the $400+ soundbar, and 2) would not work with my record player. Unfortunately, we unpacked and tried to set up before realizing the soundbar was necessary. There is nothing on the packaging, nor on the product description that makes this clear. Even the set up directions do not make it clear.

The acoustical set up was amazing. walking you through 5 listening stations on your room. For the money, everyone should add this extra pair. It makes you feel like you're in the movie or program.

I'm sorry to hear that the speakers are not what you are looking for.
The speakers need to be plugged in to the bass to provide power to the speaker and allow them to connect to the system wirelessly.
Regarding the low sound, you can tweak the audio from your surround speakers in the Bose application. You will find these in the settings menu under the adjustments tab.

I also purchased a Sony Bravia TV. The speakers sound great with this. The best sound is when I use Bluetooth to listen to music from my iPhone X which I also purchased from Best Buy.
