You cannot adjust the sound quality, it's merely the level of volume and if you can't hook up to the app there is no adjustments that can be made. I returned the rear speakers the sub and the sound bar. Coming from a 7.1 surround sound system to a soundbar just left a lot to be desired. If you have a room that you can use as a theater, meaning you can sit in the middle of it, I'm sure all components work just great.
