I am sorry to hear that little or no audio is coming out of your surround speakers. The amount of sound coming from the rear speakers can vary due to the source material being played. Music and most TV shows typically do not have sounds to play through the rear speakers of a surround sound system. Movies and video games typically do have sounds to play through the rear speakers but it will not be constant. If the LED on the receivers are white, the surround speakers are connected properly. At the beginning I already thought that was a good sounding bar, but when I read about the additional speakers that you can include in your set, I got a bit more curios. First I bought the bosr 500 sub which made the sound a lot richer and warmer to the ears. Room rattling at times depending on the settings. But I wanted more. So I added the jewel speakers. Upon addition I tuned it with the help of some tutorials to make it.louder than when it came out of the box. And voila! Every detail of sound that passes through the room moves my sense of hearing the different directions. And the clarity of it makes listening and watching movies even more special. I don't have to go to the theaters for movies,

Great compliment for the bose sound bar

However i went ahead and bought these speakers. Turned out to be really good. Sound compliments the sound bar and woofer really well. Tried it with PS5 and i was hearing noises that i wouldn't hear before. It created a really good surround sound effect. I definitely would recommend. Tried it with netflix and it also worked really good. There easy to install.

Took me a couple days to mess with the sound to get it right, but once i did it they really make it worth it on entertainment for movies and video games

Looks can be deceiving as they are very small but pack a powerful crystal clear sound. You'll be amazed at the surround sound affect they add when watching movies and how the fill the room when listening to music. You will not hear any distortion even when playing really loud.

Bose needs to be honest about the product

Add all the cords attached to them and there is an unsightly mess. The speaker is very tiny, but the transmitter is cumbersome. The transmitter must be in the same room as the speaker. It cannot be behind the wall as I had planned. Does Bose make a wall or ceiling stand for the transmitter? No! If they had, then people may question whether to buy the system as it is no longer a small system. Bose also never informed anyone that the white speakers come with big black transmitters. Go figure? They have to be placed side by side but are different colors. No choice. But they have never mentioned this. Intentional lack of honesty. I have enjoyed the Surround Bar 900 and the 700 Base Module. Too bad Bose ruined my feelings towards the brand with the misinformation on the Surround 700 speakers.

Thank you for your post. Sorry to hear that you are not happy with the size of the receivers for the Surround Speakers 700. The speaker wires are 20ft(6 m) in length. You can run it across your room for better placement of the speakers. Also, the receivers' range is up to 30ft(9 m) from the soundbar. With this, you can place it further away. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You have to hold your ear directly against the speaker to hear any sound at all ... even at the 100 setting on the Bose app. Unless ours were incorrectly set up these speakers are big on price and very small on sound (and value). Very expensive investment for no real gain in sound.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having some issues with the volume of the Surround Speakers 700.
I would recommend putting the settings back to 0 on the Bose Music application and then running AdaptiQ. This will calibrate the speakers to your listening space, then you will be able to tweak the settings to your preference.

Don’t waste your time or your money

They are so incredibly small that what sound does come out sounds like an old fashioned ham radio. I can’t believe Bose would make and market a product as terrible as this. Returning them for a full refund tomorrow
