Sound is great, and the size is perfect for the mantle. Only complaint is that when go to the cable guide, it decreases the volume automatically. It doesn’t increase when we go back to live TV, and we can’t find which setting to change to fix this.

This is my second Bose soundbar. The set up is easy and the sound quality is very good. I usually check what is available in Bose before I think of purchasing anything else. Price is always a factor with Bose so I try to look for sales.

Sound is clear and volume is consistent. Easy to use and I don’t even see the sound bar. It blends in with the tv. Why didn’t I do this sooner?

I love this particular speaker. Easy connect via BT, no need to turn it on manually. It turns off automatically, on standby if you need it. Sounds great, bass is more than enough for a small room. Planning of connecting it to my car as BT speaker on the go. Try it!

We love these Bose bars! They make listening to the TV a lot better. It takes out a lot of the "white noise" and is great when you start having issues with your hearing! We now have one in the living room and master bedroom in our home and my mother-in-law's.

Bose soundbar speaks for itself with wonderful sound and dialect .Have it below a insignia movie screen, which also comes from Best Buy..

I was in need of a soundbar to enhance the tv speakers on my 1 yr old Samsung TV. The speakers are on the back side of the tv and would find myself turning up the volume to sometimes at least 17 or 18 in order to hear conversations at a comfortable level. It doesn't help the tv sits in a cabinet either. The first bar I purchased was the Roku soundbar but after a week of use found the sound not to my liking. Read a few reviews or the Bose which of course were mixed. Living in an apartment of roughly over 1K sq ft, I just needed something to project sound in the front without sounding like a tin can. Connection was simple, bar started up as soon as the power was connected. Using the optical cord instead of a HDMI cable, the sound is perfect to my ears once the tv spearkers were turned off. The base to me is great without having to utilize Base Adjust button on the remote. I wasn't looking to have a movie theater effect of loud base. The only negative I can find is I wish the volume could be controlled by my Samsung remote and also it would be nice to have a visual of the volume level output on the tv. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something simple. Pricey but worth it.

The Bose soundbar is by far the best in the business. I bought it to watch this years Superbowl and it didn't disappoint. Since then I've enjoyed several movies and television shows, but i think the best feature is the quality of my music when connected to Bluetooth. My only suggestion is if you are going to buy this product spend the extra money to buy the subwoofer, I certainly am. All in all an excellent product and money well spent. One last thing the set up was super easy, I do recommend connecting via HDMI but thats only because I'm an HDMI fan, that doesn't come with it.

Very impressed! I returned a small JBL 2.1 sound bar and subwoofer setup and picked the BOSE TV Speaker on the advice of a family member. The JBL was great but I was not able to detune the subwoofer enough to keep from bothering my neighbors (apartment living). This is where the BOSE TV Speaker really shines. Without the external wired subwoofer, it is powerful enough to deliver some impressive bass response without becoming overpowering. Now I realize that this is subjective, but in an apartment, your neighbors have their subjectivity to weigh in with as well. We have plans to move to a house once we have saved some more money and then we can add the subwoofer if we need more bass at that time. Pros: Remote is small, but not too tiny. Indicator LED's on the bar are not overpowering. Voice enhancement lets you increase voices in the audio without sacrificing the additional audio. Compact and deceptively powerful. Bluetooth (if you want to listen to your Bluetooth audio device. Cons: Single HDMI port (ARC) Expensive optional mounting brackets (optional and if needed) A little pricy - it's BOSE. Overall, a definite keeper!

Easy Setup and works well out of the box. Sound is vastly better than the built in TV speakers. Voice and bass boost modes are useful. The only ding on it is the lack of useful users guide.

Great little speaker for any TV. These are a must these days with the terrible quality of TV speakers. Easy to use and a quick and easy connection to the TV to have it up and running in only a few minutes. Bluetooth capability is a nice add-on, but won't be used a ton. Great Bose sound.

For its size it definitely packs a decent amount of sound. The added center channel tweeter/mid range definitely helps with sound clarity verse the cheaper Bose Solo models that just have the two 30° angled mid-range. This one also includes those as well so you get an overall decent dispersion of sound and the sound field. Plus it gives you the ability to run a 3.5 mm cable to a bass source. Buying it at the $200 sales price I would say is well worth it. At the 279 price point, the lines start to blur of whether or not you should just go with a Bose soundbar that's one step up or another equivalent. The sound bars above this include a HDMI ARC support which allows you to use the TV remote to control volume. As well as app support to adjust and control everything

Great sound!, voice clarity, really like the size of the bar. The setup was easy.

This is a great soundbar when you want something very simple and better than your tv. Has pretty good bass and impressive sound stage for its size. Dialog comes in clear and has Dialog boost of need be. Only has one tweeter but it does the job.

I purchased the Bose - TV Speaker Bluetooth Soundbar to get better room filling sound. This review is based on 1 month of ownership. I own a 65” Sony Bravia 4k TV and like most large screen TVs the speakers are not very powerful. I am rating this Bose Soundbar 5 stars because: 1) The sound is worlds better than my TV’s speakers. I can hear all the voices clearly and I get good room filling sound. My TV room is 12’ x 18’ and this soundbar is perfect. 2) This soundbar is smaller and fits in my entertainment center nicely. Many sound bars are very wide and do not fit in my entertainment center. 3) I have this soundbar connected to my TV’s HDMI “ARC” port. When I turn my TV on/off the soundbar turns on/off. When I turn the TV volume up/down the soundbar volume goes up/down. I only need to use the TV remote which simplifies things.

Provides clarity to speech for those of us with hearing impairment. Sound is good overall. Easy to connect to my Samsung TV using HDMI. I don't like that the volume indicator on the screen doesn't indicate a volume level, just a plus or minus. I like to see if I'm at 50%, or a 12, or something like that so I can have a reference point.
