Excellent. I replaced some cheesy old computer speakers with this. Huge upgrade in sound quality. It can be set to auto on and off. My old ones used to buzz very quietly when the computer was off which would drive me nuts. Not cheap but it's a solidly built upgrade. I haven't used it in a home theater setting, but I imagine it would be a solid upgrade over built in speakers.

Best product I bought from Best Buy but it wasn’t compatible for my tv, love the sound bar on music and movies but sadly doesn’t connect to my games but 10/10 recommended

We bought a Sony TV about two years ago for the bedroom. The problem is the internal speakers are poorly designed. You had to turn the TV up all the way and still could not hear. This Bose speaker is amazing. Now you can hear with the volume turned up to a minimal level. The sound quality is superb. I highly recommend this Bose Speaker, P.S. The reviews on the Sony TV I bought are poor for sound quality.

Great Sound, but doesn't like the Dish Hopper Box! Attached it to the TV via optic first, that caused sound delay. Went on to attach it to the Dish Hopper box via optic. That corrected the delay, but now it turns on when it wants to even after pairing the remotes. There are also times it doesn't want to work at all. Removing the power cable and replugging it in seems to do the trick. Found I have been doing that more often lately though. So at this point, I just unplugged it with the intent of getting away from Dish soon. Connecting it directly to the TV, it works great...with the exception of sound delay. When it is working though, this small box fills the room with great sound...it is quite amazing!!!
