Reviewed several products, but settled on the Bose. I’ve been impressed with their product quality and performance. Their customer support has always been spot on. This was for my parents, as their TV speakers were less than stellar. The hookup was simple and had it going in a couple minutes. Again this was for my 80 year old parents, so simple is better. They instantly said “wow”, that is amazing. Audio from people speaking was more clear, but the music channels sounded great as well. The hardest part was pairing it to their cable TV providers remote. A few minutes with them and it was setup, so they have one remote. You can pair your phone to it as well via Bluetooth to play music. It’s pretty compact and looks good. It’s not the cheapest product, but I believe its the best combination of value and performance.

The Bose - TV Speaker Bluetooth Soundbar works for our needs as expected. This is our second Soundbar, as we already have one in the living room. We placed this new unit in our bedroom. We initially purchased this after hearing the sound quality at my parents house. We were sold! Pros Our current flatscreen tv’s have uneven sound and in certain streaming apps the commercials are significantly louder than the movie or tv show we are watching. This Soundbar has an amazingly even transition of sound from commercial to streaming program so we do not have to mute and unmute every commercial break and on Hulu it was a pain to do so. We also had an issue with inconsistencies in the transition between the bass and speech, but once we hooked up the new Bose TV Speaker that issue went away. We can clearly hear the actors even the soft spoken moments as well as great bass during action scenes. CONS I will begin by saying if you are looking for a movie theater experience in your house with surround sound quality this will probably not be for you. This is a Soundbar and does not come with extra speakers to surround your seating area, however, I think they do have options for add on’s or Soundbars that do come with extra speaker set ups. The only con I can think of would be something I feel like most people would get frustrated with when setting up their speaker. With our first speaker we hooked it up to our TCL android TV and we jumped through hoops to find the correct setup selection to initiate the connection. I am pretty sure this was a TV issue not a Soundbar issue. On our Roku Tv the only issue we had connecting was making sure we had the correct HDMI ARC cord. They provide a different cord (Optical) but if you want an HDMI connection you have to purchase a cord specifically for the ARC connection. We tried two different HDMI cords before it worked. The Optical connection works but if I am correct it does not allow for the Soundbar to be controlled by your remote. If you are having problems connecting your Soundbar to your TV I would suggest troubleshooting through the instruction pamphlet or look up your specific TV instruction pamphlet or on YouTube. After you find it you will realize it was the easiest solution. We live in a top unit apartment so we are happy with our new Soundbar. The bass is loud enough but not too loud to disturb our neighbors below. We highly recommend!

I have been very impressed with the sound quality of this Bose soundbar. The audio is clear, rich, and makes movies, TV shows, and music much more enjoyable. Voices come through clearly, and the overall sound feels balanced and powerful for its size. One drawback I have noticed is that after the soundbar loses its connection to the TV, it can sometimes be difficult to reconnect. It usually works again after some troubleshooting, but the process is not always seamless. Despite this occasional issue, the sound performance and overall quality make this a solid product, and I am still happy with it overall.

I bought this Bose TV speaker and it’s amazing. Very easy to use and the quality of the sound is crazy good. It’s a easy set up and fast to listen to. If you are text savvy or a new beginner the speaker is definitely for you. I am extremely pleased from The way it looks to the sounds that come out of it every day is exciting to sit down and just listen.

We bought this to add a little more sound to the small tv for the workout room. Set up was easy and it looks great. Only thing I kinda wish is a little more bass with it. But for the price and size it’s a great little center speaker.

I purchased 4 Boss sound bars in total. Two for my own personal use and two as gifts. This latest purchased is much improved from the other three. The price is the same but the design of the bar and remote has a better look. The sound bar is a good option for people who have small rooms or attached homes because the sound is loud enough without annoying others. Before the sound bar was installed the regular tv speakers have a hollow sound and the speaker magnifies the sound. it has Bluetooth capabilities so you can listen to music from you phone or other device. My only wish would be to have the ability to see a menu on the tv instead of blindly making sound adjustments from the remote. Although the new remote is much improved. Overall for the price I'm happy.

This bar has good sound. It however has no physical controls on the bar itself so the f you misplace the remote there is no way to control it. It has multiple kinds of signal input thus making very versátil.

Have to admit. I wanted to buy the Sonos Arc. It at this time didn’t want to spent $700 on it due to living arrangements till my house is built. Meanwhile After reading between the cheaper Sonos and Bose I tried my luck and bought the Bose. I chiseled Bose due to how small and slim the sound bar is. Easy to connect and fits perfect under my TV. The sound is great for what it is. Not like the Sonos but again this was just a quick inexpensive good sounding sound bar. The bass is acceptable. Will not shake your house but does but we’ll balanced sound. After I move I will continue to use this in a separate room but not for main one. That’s where Sonos comes in.

You can expect the best from Bose. Small but powerful sound and easy set up. Good price too!

Great sound, just what I needed. Easy set up! If I had to change one thing it would be the remote range, you have to point it directly at the light on the base.

This soundbar gives excellent audio while occupying very little space. It has been a good improvement over the TV speakers and a reasonable substitute for the old amplifier and speakers we had to give up because of space limitations. Installation instructions are sketchy, but we found additional support online.

Cute Chunky Size with a lot of Boom & Volume! Definitely @ a great price! Worth the purchase!

Excellent Soundbar – Big Sound in a Sleek Design This soundbar completely transformed my TV and music experience. I am going to jump forward to a Best Buy transaction on December 14, 2025 where I tried to move my November 25 purchase from my Visa to my Best Buy Credit Card. On November 25. 2025 I attempted to purchase two Bose Soundbars on my Best Buy Credit Card, and was told it wasn’t working. Unable to find out why this occurred, I was left with the only option to purchase the soundbars with my Visa. After spending hours on the phone for several days afterwards to find out why, I was instructed to return the items to the Best Buy store. You can imagine how surprised I was when I was told by Citi Bank at the store on Decembet 14th that they could not verify it was me, when they had just done that the day before on the phone. In other words, I could not move the purchase of the soundbars from my Visa to my Best Buy Credit Card while the items were temporarily on sale. Trey, I believe a geek squad member, could see how frustrated my wife and I were. He advocated for us by calling Citi Bank a second time, and stated our predicament. He was able to get the Citi Bank representative to ok our use of our Best Buy Credit Card. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer that has purchased countless items in the last 15 years. I research items for purchase and come to Best Buy to “try out” the items. This is the advantage Best Buy has over Amazon, Bose, and other online competitors. Best Buy also allows me to pay off the items over time which is another advantage. However, I was extremely frustrated that I could not use my Best Buy Credit Card, and no one could tell me why, until Trey advocated for us. I was ready to no longer be a loyal Best Buy customer. Trey changed all that by listening to his customer, spending a great deal of time explaining our predicament to Citi Bank, and getting Citi Bank to approve the use of our Best Buy Credit Card. I have always paid our credit card off in a timely basis, and later found that the reason Citi Bank did not want to approve our purchase using the Best But Credit card was that they had a phone number other than our Best Buy approved phone number. A day earlier, on the phone, Citi Bank was able to verify it was me, without the use of my phone number. Trey was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and results oriented. I cannot thank him enough for what he did for us. Working in quality and customer service in healthcare for over 36 years, I appreciate Trey, and will continue to shop at Best Buy because of him. Another item you may want to consider, relates to the other reason Best Buy stands out in relation to their competitors. The ability to try products in the store. On November 25th, I came in to purchase 2 soundbars by comparing the Bose to the Sonos soundbars. The Sonos exhibit did not work. Although I was in the DeKalb store 2 more times within 19 days, it still did not work. The very advantage your stores have over the online competitors is not being supported. I hope this is something corporate can remedy.

I love to experience good sound. I am use to a Martin Logan system, however, when I bought a very small RV I needed something better than the speakers that came with the trailer. Based solely on the reviews, I decided that I would buy a Bose TV Monitor. Installation was really simple. The first thing I noticed was I could hear all of the dialogue on a show where there was primarily speaking. The dialogue feature cuts back the base and is programed to boost frequencies in the speaking range. I do use this setting for some TV shows but not so much on music or movies. The remote allows the feature to be turned on or off. (Excellent!) The sound bar's performance in speaking shows excited me as it was so clear, but when it came to listening to music or movies, I wanted more punch. Even turning off the dialogue feature and increasing the bass level was not enough to make movies "Pop" with lows. I looked for reviews where people added a base module, but I guess this so new of a system that this setup has not been done often. I added the Bose Bass Module 500 with the Bose Bass Module cable to the Bose TV Speaker, (Required for this setup) and my mind is simply blown! I was simply amazed by the sound, highs, mids, lows, this sound bar is great on its own, but the sound is lifted to a whole new level when paired with a base module. The Sound Bar has a BASS input on the remote where you can control the bass either made by the system or the Bass Module if one is installed. (Really Nice) This is a great sound bar, especially for small rooms or places like an RV. On its own it is worth the purchase. Add a Base Module, and the sound from movies will rock. Its not an Atmos system, but in smaller rooms it would be hard to enjoy that type of setup anyway. I really recommend this sound bar. It is better than any speaker that is built into a TV. I think it is better than many more expensive sound bars even though it may not have features, the sound is incredible and makes this sound bar a serious contender in this product field. If you are an audiophile and you need more base, look at the Bass Module 500 with Bose Bass Module Cable. I was simply blown a way.

I have always been a fan of Bose products and this speaker is pretty for the price! I really enjoy the sound levels, the relative easy use of this speaker. Quality sound!

This sound bar has excellent speakers. It sound is crisp and clear. It is not too high so it doesn’t block the TV or its controls.

My family uses this speaker in our family room and the bass is great. Max volume is insanely loud. Very high sound quality for movies and TV. Only problem that I have once in a blue moon is that sometimes when I turn on my TV, the speaker doesn't turn on with it. So, you have to turn TV back off and then turn it back on, then it'll work.

We had an older verision and this upgrade works better at all levels - easy set-up, new features, and a great sound (as always). I really like the "Dialogue Mode" that provides clear sound for talking and dialogue during shows and movies. Great bass! This is a great value for the product you received. Enjoy some great sound!
