But I will say that I also have a bose 900 sound bar so my view is a bit biased. I trust bose products and will continue to buy their speakers and headphones. This one was a miss for me.

Was constantly trying to pick up a Bluetooth signal or would disconnect. Reached out to Bose about it when I had the opportunity, and they had no interest in making it right, as it was out of the warranty period. Check Reddit - there's a thread of people who got these, and all had the same experience. There was clearly a defective batch.

The improvement of sound clarity is amazing. We like this unit so much we plan on getting one for the bedroom.

The two gentlemen, who delivered the item, were polite, friendly, and courteous. They should be congratulated, too. The TV worked at power on and all is well.

I needed for sound because this is an install in a small cabinet and the sound was muffled because the speakers for the TV where under the unit and so therefore blocked.

It sounds about the same as, or maybe a little worse, than the stock speakers in my 7 year old television (which is on the cheaper end of TVs they sold at the time). I think you'd be better off to plug in an Alexa or something - it sounds like a cheap portable USB speaker. And it has a white light on it that will not go off, facing the person looking at the TV. The only way to get it off is to hide it by covering with electric tape. It may work okay in a very small room, but you're better off saving your money here.

Not sure if I'm noticing a huge difference from the TV audio. The HDMI-ARC is working well allowing me to power and use via TV/Tivo remote. Also, like that I see volume indicator on TV when using TV/Tivo remote (not getting that with Sonos).

We liked that the Bose offered a one-touch button to improve voice clarity. The problem we found is that it gave all other sounds a muffled whirl type sound that was quite annoying. We returned the soundbar and made some adjustments to our old one which now sounds better.

It's great to see that you're loving the dialogue mode available on the Soundbar. I understand you returned it due to finding the audio muffled. In dialogue mode it does lower and even out the background sounds to help clear up dialogue.

They placed the wall mount, hooked up the other parts of the system like the router, and programmed the TV to run through the speaker, and mounted the surge protector to the wall so the TV his it.
