    Done with Bose products

    Not sure what's happened with Bose quality through the years but after this I think I'm done buying their products. I bought this back in October of 2021 and a few days ago it started making a very loud screeching noise as soon as I turned it on, I figured no big deal I'll just replace the optical cable and should clear it up. That worked for all of an hour, tried connecting it via HDMI and it makes the same LOUD noise after a few minutes of listening, paired it to a completely different device via Bluetooth and same issue, finally disconnected all audio sources from it and simply powered it on this morning and guess what? SAME.LOUD.SCREECH immediately all three times I turned it on with nothing connected to it. Aside from this I've owned 3 pairs of Bose Noise Cancelling 700 headphones that each lasted 2 and a half years tops as well as a set of earbuds that last maybe 2 years. I've got an LG soundbar with subwoofer combo hooked to my other TV that I've had for over 4 years and gets way more use then the this Bose soundbar got and the LG is still working like a champ. After this I'm done with Bose, the drop in product quality no longer justifies their pricing.

    Volume changes with channel changes

    Each time I change the channel the volume changes. Bose says to fix I need to move the TV speaker away from the TV. That defeats the purpose. For that reason the Bose TV Speaker and seperate woofer is disconnected and sitting in a closet.

    It Was Returned

    I'm old, so remember Bose cube speakers when they came out. Bose put the Audio in Audiophile. Now, fast forward to present day, and you will find that Bose is just another high priced name in the audio category. We purchased the Bose TV Speaker to go in our bedroom with the new 48" LG CX OLED TV. After about 2.5 hours of trying everything under the sun to get the two paired up and working, we gave up and took it back. The owners manual was less than worthless. Almost every forum I checked, people had nothing but complaints about the Bose TV Speaker. It would seem that a lot of other people had the same problem. It just simply wouldn't pair up no matter what we tried. I even tried different HDMI cables, including HDMI 2.1. Returned the Bose TV Speaker, spent the extra $150.00 and picked up the Polk Audio MagniFi Home Theater System. The Polk system paired up immediately, no issues, and sounds great!

    bad purchase

    Purchased end of april, it has quit working first of June. Speaker gets very hot, too hot to touch, afraid it may start a fire. I do not recommend

    Not Capatiable with Apple TV

    This speaker has been known for glitchs with the apple tv. I would suggest not purchasing this product if you plan to use it with an apple tv remote

    Didn’t work for long, before we had issues. Lights blinking and remote not working. Bose technical support is a sick joke.

    Bose....?! What has happened to your standards of quality??? I cannot believe this soundbar is getting ANY positive reviews! It is horrible! There is absolutely no clarity, and it sounds like you're listening to your television through a cell phone with a bit of weird bass. I expected so much more from Bose. Why tarnish your name with lower end products if they're going to be this bad? I bought mine last night and I'm taking it right back this afternoon. So disappointed.

    Speaker worked great for 2 mins then stopped working after i switched my input to my xbox. I tried all their recommendations but nothing. Wont even turn on anymore. Lights blink but never stay on and then stop. Im an avid bose supporter but this sound bar is the worst thing they ever made. Do better Bose.

    never buy from outlet store again. Product came as is with no! instructions or cable wires as promised in advertisement. I refuse to pay $250 for a paper weight.

    Not much better than the TV speakers

    I have a Bose 900 Soundbar in a vacation home that sounds great. By comparison, this TV speaker is not much better than my TV speakers. The same is true of the base enhancement and speech clarity. The tv sound enhancements turn off when with the soundbar is hooked up. Rather than a number, Sound bar uses very confusing lights

    Terrible Sound Bar

    Terrible sound bar. We bought this in 2021, and it’s never worked quite right. We spent time and money troubleshooting this to no avail. The bar goes mute, makes loud piercing noises, needs to be restarted multiple times, and I end up watching TV without it. Bose is aware of the quality issues with this sound bar. Don’t waste your money.

    Snap, Crackle and Pop!

    Everything started great! Then one night i woke up to these weird crackling noises and thought it was an animal in my room. Then eventually found out that it was the speaker. I bought it open box and maybe thats why it is broken but i ended up losing money on this and didnt even have it for that long..
