Great speakers

I bought this to provide better speakers for my new 50” tv. It really helps you to hear all the sound effects and background music that you miss on the tv speakers. Love this speaker!

Good small sound bar.

Compact size, so it fits under smaller TVs too. It's one of the few that don't include a subwoofer (in my case I didn't want the subwoofer)

When we bought a new tv we decided to upgrade to the Bose. We can actually hear clear speaking while watching tv! Worth it!

When the sales associate informed me I can connect other devices via Bluetooth. I was sold and once I got it home it was the perfect addition to my entertainment center

Geek squad did a great job of mounting the TV as well and did it efficiently and professionally. They even helped me with understanding the remote before leaving.

However, we connected our laptop via bluetooth (sounded great) but now when we power up the laptop, this speaker turns on and connects to it without any prompting by us. If the tv is on using this speaker, and the laptop gets turned on, it switches from tv mode to bluetooth mode by itself, leaving no audio for the tv. We have to get the bose remote and press the tv button to get it back. So, we have to turn off the bluetooth feature on our laptop so this does not happen. We shouldn't have to do this. Bose stated no fix for this product yet. Our other bose speaker (last year's model) turns on bluetooth only when we prompt it to do so. Otherwise, it would have gotten higher ratings.

It's great to hear that you're impressed by the exceptional Bose audio quality for the speaker. The TV speaker features Bluetooth, which means that it is visible to other devices nearby that have previously successfully connected.
From the details that you've provided, your PC is connecting to the speaker when it powers up. This is due to your computer, not the soundbar. As noted, to disable your PC from triggering this, disable Bluetooth on your PC. Please contact the manufacturer of your computer for additional assistance.

Strong little soundbar with clear dialogue.

I can actually hear and understand every word said in Tv shows and movies by using the dialogue mode in this soundbar (even at low volume). The setup was made so easy by using the ARC connection to my tv hdmi port. I can control my bose soundbar with my tv remote. I have a roku tv (tcl). I do not like the weak bass that comes from this soundbar. I also wish this soundbar could connect wirelessly to a bose bass module (subwoofer). My wife loves it, and it fills my bedroom with loud clear sound (just weak bass).

BOSE product "opinions", not "reviews", typically fall into two cats., Love them, or Hate them. To me, there really seems to be no middle of the ground. I LOVE MY BOSE

The "surround sound" from it had me thinking sirens were outside! Great for smaller spaces not wanted huge bass.
