Do not know if it make any difference in sound quality.

I've owned Bose products before and I have to say I was disappointed in this item. Sound quality isn't optimal. Can't sync up with sound from tv. It looks like people are lip singing. I tried to trouble shoot without success. Now I'm past return time.

Sound bar works good but it said it had blue tooth but I find that means just a receiver not a sending unit means my ear buds wont work with the sound bar . Very disapointd . Want to send it back not what i wanted . Looks like they lied to me about the blue tooth !!!

I honestly expected more from this sound ar considering how it was made by bose. The sound had minimal balancing and really sounded crappy, like it was being played through a tube. Luckily I was able to take it back though. Only positive experience with this.

Bose speakers are not what they used to be sound quality is not good. I would not buy bose speaker again.

Sold to me as open box but unchecked/tested. And that’s the good news, went down hill from there…. 6 hours or more of my life wasted and a rude manager who didn’t want to help…. All I needed was help to replace, in the end the manufacturer (JBL) was amazing as were (employees) at BB but best of luck finding anyone in corporate…. They are all gone…..

Speech enhancement is not as noticeable as on the previous Bose speaker I bought, but I like the fact that the enhancement stays on every time I turn the tv on.

Unimpressive to say the least. I know it’s a smaller sound bar but the quality of the bar is subpar at best

I had to return it. It had no power cord, which I had to go back and purchase. The manager acted like he was giving me a deal. I think he was just trying to unload it on me. It never worked.

Very disappointing. It says Roku TV compatible, but when you turn the tv on, sound may come out of the Bose speakers, or the Roku TV, or no sound at all. Next power up, same 3 possibilities. No changes in setup, but different results every time. The clincher was we could not tell by sound quality if it was Bose or Roku speakers.

Terrible power will not stay on .. then works in different room for 30 min then shuts down. Then the light 2 white lights blink at you for 1 min then nothing.

I have to turn this speaker off and back on for it work after the tv is on. Not the best sound quality you would expect from Bose. My tv speakers do almost as good as this. Not impressed at all.

The sound quality is not Bose standard and we could never get it to work with our smart tv. It only worked with the cds we put in our dvd player. I have several Bose products, speakers, headphones, soundlink. This is lame compared to the other items. Very disappointed.

We've had this sound bar for a little over two months and the sound is already playing distorted. We don't play it excessively loud but it's just plain distorted. Very disappointing because it's past the return date.

It worked well for the first 2 weeks then the sound started cutting out for periods of time. We updated it, called customer service and nothing fixed it so we attempted to return it to BB but it was beyond the 14 day rtn period. We are returning it to Bose.

Was not impressed with sound quality. Very “tinney” like sound from a coffee tin. Returned and purchased Vizio sound bar for $150 less and much better quality.

Had to up grade to the 300 series. Was not to happy about the sound of this sound bar..although it was still clear but not very loud..I would rate this one as fair

Sound quality is decent for the money. Doent always connect automatically when turning on the TV.

Not exactly thrilled with the sound bar doesnt seem to work all the time
