Clear dialog, not much thump

This is a step up from the television speakers in terms of dialog. Not much on the low end and even though I wasn't expecting much, I expected more than this from Bose. Could probably pay the same amount for a 2.1 Samsung/Sony/LG setup with a separate sub and be happier.
