The sound is pretty good for such a little speaker, but it died after only a week. Won't power on at all.

Nice full range sound out or a compact sound bar, great for a bedroom TV

It was not compatible with my sony tv and I could not use the HDMI only the fiber optic bose could not help me

Better sound than tv speaker. Hear programs better, can actually lower volume and hear clearer and better.

First and foremost, I must say that this Bose speaker sounds really nice! It is replacing a Soundcore BT speaker that was fine and doing a good job, but this is on another level obviously with the deep bass sounds it is capable of. I use this speaker for multiple uses throughout the day switching between a 4K Monitor for gaming/movies, Samsung s5e tablet for music at night & a Note 10+ phone to also play music out of but just occasionally. The speaker comes packaged well and I was up and running in no time. All of my devices found the Bose TV Speaker immediately and connected with no issues. Usually with BT devices, I find that they dont always connect right away. Even if the speaker appears off with no LED on, if I connect via my tablet, it connects immediately with no issue and the LED light turns on right away. Very appreciated personally as it is a pet peeve of mine to have to babysit electronics. The size is another bonus for this speaker in my opinion. Most speakers are very long and not appropriate for desks. This one is. Right now, I have my Bose TV Speaker on a Vadeer aluminum monitor stand, and only hangs over about an 1" on each side. OCD issues asside, it works. About as long as the 27" monitor above it. This is a big deal because of the sound it pumps out. No more desktop speakers, that while doing a fine job, didn't do it like this. After installing and playing music upstairs in the room, my wife tells me later that she thought neighbors were playing music from next door, it was so loud with bass. This is a plus in my book. To be fair, my only complaint is that there are no physical buttons on this speaker. Sleek? Oh yes. But what if the remote ends up missing? I would of preferred just 2 small buttons on the back, "just in case" to turn off or change from BT to TV. Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to auto turn on, but when I still like to do it manually.There does appear to be a battery door, so when the time comes, I'm sure I can replace the battery. Speaking of the remote, I would be amiss if I did not mention the utility of the remote. Has a power, volume (+ -), mute, TV,BT, Bass & lastly and speaker + type button that make the sound even clearer and raises it up as well pronouncing all the background sounds more clearly making the overall accoustic package more hearty and complete. The remote is also very small and light. If you have ever had a Bose before, you know what I mean in regards to the sound. Hard to explain, like watching 4K resolution game @ 60 frames per second, all while being streamed at 1080p resolution at 30 frames. You just have to see it in person to be blown away, or in this case to hear it. My specific score on this speaker is a solid a 4.5 out of 5. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a smaller TV speaker with big sound. Lastly, I am aware this speaker can be hooked up via HDMI to TVs but only with an HDMI ARC adapter. Otherwise it does come with optical cable. While I have no doubt that this will take the audio to even another level, it is already A+.

Sound is ok and not much better than some new TVs . Going to buy a subwoofer to see if it helps. Think of it as a light upgrade to your tv speakers.

Its bose.....of course it sounds great. Its not surround sound,. But for a sound bar, it sounds amazing.

Soundbar over heats. Then it died on me 4 months after staring to use. No longer returnable. Total waste of 275 bucks.

I bought this speaker a few days ago for $199, which I felt was reasonable. This is my first Bose Soundbar, and I'm writing this honest review to help other customers know what to expect before purchasing. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the sound quality; it felt like an ordinary speaker. When I turned up the volume, I heard a loud, irritating noise. If you're considering buying one, you might want to think it over first. This speaker has two midrange drivers and a tweeter in the middle. It has a large casing to accommodate these small speakers. I hope that Bose will improve its products to be just like this one.

Sound lives up to the Bose name. Delivery was on as promised.

I bought this 1.5 years ago. Sound is fine. Use is inconvenient. It glitches all the time, leaving us with no audio. So we’re constantly unplugging it to get it to reset. I would not recommend this brand.

Purchased two in 3 days and both over heated and stopped working. Save your money and Dont BUY!!!!

This sound bar is not the best work by Bose. I had mine less than a year and started having issues with it. Basically it would rear its head anytime there was a power loss at my home. When it reset it would lose the HDMI handshake with the TV and it took multiple times of plugging and unplugging and resetting the sound bar to fix it. Same issue when using the optical audio cable. I eventually had enough and sent it in for warranty repair. Got it back after 30 days with the same issue. then i thought maybe it was the TV, so I bought a new TV, worked fine until another power loss and boom TV will not recognize HDMI or optical audio source. Now it is no longer under warranty and I have to buy something else. I own a Solo 5 that i bought new, no issues at all and an old Solo TV Sound System that i bought for a steal on eBay in the guest room TV that still works and sounds great. Don't know why this one is such junk. Plus for the price there's no wifi or wireless sub connection. Unless i sell the sub I will have to go with another Bose product. Leaning towards the Smart Soundbar 300. Definitely will not buy another one of these.

This sound bar was great at first, but shortly after the warranty ran out, it quit working. Wouldnt connect via blue tooth or even with an HDMI cable. Tried every troubleshooting trick i coukd find and even tried a different tv/network. It would connect to bluetooth, but lost the connection within minutes. Very disappointed. Bose used to be a high quality product, but not my experience with this soundbar.

Works great, easy to hook up. As an addition to the small speakers that come with new tv, well worth the purchase

Real nice soundbar, really good full sound. I like the different settings to choose from.

Speaker sound is ok but that’s if it’s working goes in and out of connection about every 15 seconds it’s hard wired to the TV but still loses signal for whatever reason tried hard resting doesn’t fix issue

Works great. First soundbar I've tried and it's definitely a nice addition to the room.
