I've had the speaker for a few months now. Easy installation. Immediate improvement in our sound. Clear speech was the reason we bought this and this delivers. We are getting up in age and sounds are becoming distorted on most tvs. This cleared it up amazingly. 100% recommend for that alone. My complaint is you can only turn the speaker off and on by using the remote. I honestly would have searched for a different sound at because of that alone. I like my sound at to turn on when I turn the TV on or at least have a way to power it on the sound at itself.

This speaker works very well. Easy to set up. It will automatically come on when it detects a signal from your TV. Great sound.

I love Bose. I’ve had their CineMate speaker system for years and it still impresses me. That being said, this guy is great for just my bedroom! Don’t expect a full surround sound experience, but it definitely provides clear sound effects and satisfying bass when watching movies. I also struggle with hearing dialogue so I love the Dialogue Mode option. It easily connected to my tv remote and the setup was super simple (I used the HDMI option instead of optical). Treat yo’self with this soundbar and some popcorn and enjoy!

I am so happy to have this Bose speaker for my TV. The sound is so much better, I no longer have to use closed captioning. Setup is very easy.

I needed a replacement for the lousy speakers installed by Samsung in my parent's set. It had to be zero adjustment-- just the television or DVD player remote to adjust volume. Great quality and absolutely no additional effort by the user after HDMI and power hookup. This is the unit.

This sound bar is easy to setup and is a great addition to the tv. It clarifies the voice to make watching tv more enjoyable for old ears.

Speaker was a Christmas gift for my daughter. She told me the sound is perfect for her living room tv, and sounds awsome when listening to music.

The base on this is amazing truly I connected it to my pc and played battle front 2 and can feel the light saber through the sound

I bought this Bose soundbar mainly because of the dialogue enhance mode which works great for movies. It is not a lot of bass but very clear sound. I am satisfied with the soundbar. I miss spme function like surround sound and a bit more bass, so that’s why I only give it a 4 star.

I would give this unit 5 stars, except for the lack of LEDs on the front panel to monitor the status of the soundbar (read below). The sound is excellent for what I'm using it for. I didn't want to run a bunch of wire and hang satellite speakers for my 5.1 rear L-R speakers, so I'm using this soundbar for my rear L-R channels. It sits under the TV and incredibly fills in the gap between the front L-R main speakers. The dispersion is excellent -- exactly what Bose is famous for. (NOTE: This unit is amplified, so do not shoot hot amplified audio from your amp's speaker outputs unless you can pad it down! My Onkyo surround tuner lets me set each output as low as -14dB, which is perfect for not over-driving the input of the Bose.) I use the analogue AUX input jack to feed in the speaker-out signal from the amp. The "dialogue" setting really does clarify speech in shows & movies where there is a lot of background EFX or music going on. Mids & highs are crystal clear -- no sibilance. Now, about those cheesy LED's... This unit only has 2 LED's on the front to let you know what mode you're in, etc. The LED's change color, blink in various ways, stay solid, etc., for each function. I had to download the complete manual and keep the page for the LED Mode Table handy to keep track of what I was setting up. For $279, Dr. Bose should have added a few more (inexpensive) LED's to the front panel. This was a real design flaw. Simplicity is fine if it doesn't make things complicated. Lastly, when in auto power-down mode, it takes about 2 hours to power off when there is no signal present -- kinda silly. 10 minutes makes more sense. I do not use this unit with any outboard sub-woofer, as my Boston Acoustic mains give all the thump we need. If you are using this (as intended) strictly for a TV speaker, you may want to add a small sub-woofer. You can easily connect one with a patch cord, via the 1/8" sub-out jack on the back. The price of this unit is way too much, but I paid it because it's Bose and it was the best sounding bar in this size range with an analogue input.

Nice soundbar but has issues staying connected when tv is turned off. Have to turn on every time with optical connection.

I would have rated it a 5 star but the remote is not to my liking. Its very small, all black, and the button colors are dark gray and not lighted. hard to see when your watching a show and the room lights are off. But the sound is good.

This inexpensive unit sounds amazing. The first thing I played was a blue ray of David Gilmour….couldn’t be better. The dialog setting makes the new much clearer….great unit

The Bose speaker has great quality for the price point and I love the fact that it compact and can fit in small TV units. My only issue that it does not have a remote and always needs to be handled through phone. If you’re looking for something compact without a subwoofer, this is worth the money!

For such a small soundbar it delivers big sound. I ma using in bedroon and it really makes a difference over the TV speakers, Recommended.
