Very good speaker, nice quality and overall good addition to our new tv

Added great sound to our outdoor kitchen near pool.

Sound quality is good and the setup was super easy

I purchased Bose sound bar for my tv and I was very disappointed with sound quality. I tried optical, Hdmi and bluetooth connections but sound quality was average.

Love Bose products. Easy to install with Smart tv.

I have had this sound bar for approx. 8 mos. now. Even though I am using an HDMI cord, thru my Samsung’s HDMI ARC port, every time I turn the TV off, at the end of the day, and on, the next day, I get no sound thru the sound bar! I have gone into the TV settings and made sure everything was checked, that needed to be checked. The only solution I’ve found is to turn the TV and sound bar off, disconnect the power plugs to both, wait a couple of minutes, connect back to plugs, then turn the TV and sound bar on again! What a routine to have to go thru every day! I expected better from Bose!

Speaker sound is ok but that’s if it’s working goes in and out of connection about every 15 seconds it’s hard wired to the TV but still loses signal for whatever reason tried hard resting doesn’t fix issue

Bought this for Christmas and now the blue tooth volume glitch has started by Feb. Volume will max out if you try turning up the volume or go zero if you turn the volume down. Now it only works with HDMI ARC.

Not happy with this thing at all. Originally bought a little over a year ago, and then within a few months it would not power on. I did an RMA with Bose and they repaired it and sent it back. Now every time my TV comes on, the speaker sometimes will not work at all and I have to restart it. First time purchasing a Bose product, and likely never will again. Nothing but frustration with this thing.

For it not being a top teir soundbar it has decent sound quality

No better if not weaker than the TV speakers. There is absolutely NO bass control and too, it cannot be used in sync with the TV speakers because you get a reverb delay making the sound like in an echo chamber. I have a Bose tabletop radio, circa 2008, the produces wonderful bass in NO comparison to the weak Bose sound bar. Not only disappointing but money grab. You pay for a name and a nice box that produces nothing in respect to what the Bose name supposedly represents. Shop elsewhere.

Not good as alone until buy with woofer option. Alone it is ok and better than TV sound but did not get the sound effect we expecting from sound bar

Good at stabilizing sound when commercials come on. Sound is good. The bass is severely lacking even with the bass boost activated, little disappointed considering that it had good quality bass. Also disappointed because I was expecting so much more quality from a name like Bose.

I have to constantly turn it off and on until i could eventually adjust the volume with no buttons on the speaker itself it’s extremely annoying.

Pro: -Good audio for its size -Simple setup Con: -Limited features -Expensive -No hdmi cable included To sum it up, the Bose TV Speaker is exactly that, external speaker you hook up to your TV. It’s not a soundbar, so no passthrough or additional inputs. It sounds great for its size and is simple to set up. The audio is amazingly good considering how small the speaker is. The sound is full, dialogue is clear, and has a decent amount of bass. Not enough for booming sounds from movies or games, but good enough for TV and music. You can add an additional Bose subwoofer, for a high cost. At the right distance, it sounds like the audio is coming from the entire space in front of you rather than from a small box under your TV. It’s best for watching stereo content or listening to dialogue heavy audio. While it’s okay for movies or gaming, it doesn’t bring enough to be considered a home theater experience. There’s an option to enhance voice making it louder, but the background audio gets a bit compressed. Out of the box, it’s easy to set up and use. It’s best with HDMI/Arc so the TV can control the power and volume of the speaker. It’s a shame they don’t include an HDMI cable. Using optical, you lose the control but can set up so that the speaker turns on when it detects sound. The only indicator are two lights that flashes in different combinations depending on what is being adjusted. It’s pretty easy to read. Although the Bose speaker has superior audio quality than a typical soundbar of this size, at this price, you can buy a 5.1 or 7.1 soundbar with a wireless subwoofer. It depends if you would rather have better stereo sounds and don’t care about features you get from a full soundbar, or a soundbar with additional inputs and probably better bass, but with less fuller audio.

Not as loud very low from what was advertised. I am very disappointed.

Bose is by far one of my favorites brands for speakers but this one was a total letdown. The sound wasn't loud nor clear. I had to return it.

Not what I expected sound not good very low sound quality

Sounded terrible. We have old bose that are over 15 years old and they sounded better then this. I would recommend a sonos sound bar instead.
