Will this soundbar improve your TV experience as an upgrade from the built-in TV speakers? Yes. Will it blow you away or even impress you a little? Probably not. This soundbar is about $100 more than it should be, due to the Bose brand recognition. It does not perform any better than most soundbars that are in the $100-150 price range. A lack of an LED display for functions and volume, as well as no ability to adjust the treble, are also negatives. If you're only looking for a compact bar, save your money and purchase a cheaper one as long as it has full range drivers or built-in subwoofers.

Exactly what we needed. We are senior citizens who needed a little extra help hearing our big screen tv. Went for the best in a Bose and are glad we did

This is definitely a runner up to having a full sound system. It's not always the best, but the dialogue mode is a great feature and allowed for ear of listening to each word. It was way to set up but wish it came with mounting brackets.

The Bose Sound Bar is an excellent addition to our RV. We use it for the smart TV and the sound quality is excellent.

This Bose TV Speaker died by itself after a power outage. Only the left red light flashes. Researched the problem it is the voltage regulator on the main circuit board. Local Tech said it was too expensive to repair. Called Bose tech to see if they knew anything. They said it was dead, but their CSR department offered to sell me a new one for $104. Good deal, right? Wrong. They did not tell me I needed to ship the old one back to them via UPS. I do not have a box this big and UPS sells boxes for around $40. All this happened over 30 days ago because their CSR got my email wrong. What a waste of time. I bought a small $20 bluetooth speaker which I can put next to me while watching TV. Less ambient noise, good sound, not subject to power outage failure.

Install was excellent. Installer friendly, timely and efficient as well a knowledgeable.

The dialogue mode works very well, and that alone made it worth the price. No more closed captions on “mumble movies”. Easy setup.

Great speaker, clear sound. Im pretty hard of hearing but this speaker lets me hear the tv better. Only downside is you cannot pair it with any other speakers.
