However, the dialogue sometimes sounded muffled, or distorted. I returned the product; the bar kept overheating, and shutting off. I don't know if this is representative of the product itself, or if I simple had a defective one.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I couldn't believe or accept the very low performance and poor sound quality. I am completely disappointed with this BOSE product. I opted to buy another competing soundbar that is even smaller in size and -above all much cheaper- with sound and quality far exceeds this BOSE TV soundbar. I personally do NOT recommend it. You'll end-up feeling like it was a wasted of money.

WOW! Easy breezy and easy-to-follow instructions. Mission accomplished in two minutes flat. The sound is "Bose quality", meaning very good. I can hear conversations now.
