Sound not quite worth the cost

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Bose TV Speaker as well as the Bass Module 500 subwoofer as a house Christmas present, but set up up the week to test it, and I was highly disappointed. The soundbar alone was fairly week. The dialog was fine, but even tweaking the settings and connecting the subwoofer didn't really add much. This was in a master bedroom, not a giant room by any means. I still have my old Bose 201 speakers from way back when, and they are solid. This particular soundbar setup just isn't up to par.

For the cost there are better options that I have tried. I thought the price point for a Bose system was good, but doesn’t deliver the same clarity and depth as other Bose products I own.

This is my first Bose Soundbar, and I'm writing this honest review to help other customers know what to expect before purchasing. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the sound quality; it felt like an ordinary speaker. When I turned up the volume, I heard a loud, irritating noise. If you're considering buying one, you might want to think it over first. This speaker has two midrange drivers and a tweeter in the middle. It has a large casing to accommodate these small speakers. I hope that Bose will improve its products to be just like this one.
