    Sad we didn’t get to experience it

    Tried this speaker in store and really liked it. But when it was delivered to our home it would not even turn on. We decided to go for a cheaper version and have been happy with it since. I wouldn’t say its a bad speaker as we never got to give it a chance.

    Controls are screwy

    Whenever I change the TV channel on my cable box with the cable box remote or my universal remote, the volume goes up or down on this sound-bar. Whenever I change the channel, I have to readjust the volume. I have not found a solution yet.

    I am disappointed with the sound quality of this speaker. It sounds very similar to any logitech speaker for less than $ 40 I bought it and the next day I returned it to the store. i have a nissan altima 2017 sl. I love the sound and quality that bose has but the price of these speakers is very high for the low quality it offers. I would like to try the 300 model but its cost is too expensive for the sound quality it offers

      Hello!

      You are correct, designed with simplicity in mind, the TV Speaker simply needs a single connection to your TV and it will be ready to go in no time! As this soundbar does not require an app to use, you won't be able to use it with the Bose Connect app.

      I appreciate you have sold your soundbar but I hope this information helps if you decide to look at the TV Speaker again in the future!

    Two failed units in three years

    Worked for one year and quit working. I had previous model which only worked for a couple of years. I changed cable and sources. Would get squealing noise then loss of sound. This was after working fine for a year. Very disappointed with the product and switched to another brand.

    DO NOT BUY! I went through 2 of these and had one sent off to geek squad repair. It would stop working and I had a video to show it but it kept coming back with nothing wrong. I switched to LG and its been a far better product

    I've owned Bose products before and I have to say I was disappointed in this item. Sound quality isn't optimal. Can't sync up with sound from tv. It looks like people are lip singing. I tried to trouble shoot without success. Now I'm past return time.

      Hi Elisa, this is very strange? Are you connected using the Optical lead included in the box to connect? Or are you using a HDMI-ARC lead? This should prevent this from happening. If the video on the TV or device you are watching still does not match up with the corresponding audio you are hearing from your soundbar, check out the steps here https://bit.ly/2Q0IK1c.

    They lied about the blue tooth .

    Sound bar works good but it said it had blue tooth but I find that means just a receiver not a sending unit means my ear buds wont work with the sound bar . Very disapointd . Want to send it back not what i wanted . Looks like they lied to me about the blue tooth !!!

      Hello! I am so glad that you are enjoying your TV Speaker. I am sorry for any miscommunication. The Bluetooth on the soundbar means that you can stream Bluetooth audio to it. It is unable to produce audio via Bluetooth, only receive.

    I honestly expected more from this sound ar considering how it was made by bose. The sound had minimal balancing and really sounded crappy, like it was being played through a tube. Luckily I was able to take it back though. Only positive experience with this.

    Purchased 12/23 and had nothing but connection issues. Now. Only 1-1/2 years old. Piece of crap. Always thought Bose was a good product.
