Sony $99 sound bar with bass is much better!

This speaker doesn’t have base at all when compared to Sony for $99 and with the best reflex feature the sound is also great.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!

The left bottom side under the power source connection began to overheat. It worked seamlessly up until today. Used it all the time. Came home from work & the thing wouldn’t even come on. Tried to troubleshoot it for 30mins w/ a Bose tech over the phone then nothing, nada, zip, zilch!!!!. At first it began to flash as if it wanted to come on, then just die every time. All they could do since there is technically 6 DAYS left under the manufacturer warranty, is send me a USED REFURB. :( I see on blogs this is a bit of a common issue. DO NOT BUY!!! KEEP LOOKING FOR THE NEXT BETTER OPTION. Not worth the hassle

New Bose Bar!!

It needs a fix.

The remote control is used to change the bass setting. The remote works fine and the lights on the sound bar indicates the I am changing the bass, but there is no change being made. I have turned it in to the Geek Squad and it is been sent to the repair location out of town. If they can fix the problem, I know that I will enjoy it again. I bought it less than 30 days.

Done with Bose products
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not sure what's happened with Bose quality through the years but after this I think I'm done buying their products. I bought this back in October of 2021 and a few days ago it started making a very loud screeching noise as soon as I turned it on, I figured no big deal I'll just replace the optical cable and should clear it up. That worked for all of an hour, tried connecting it via HDMI and it makes the same LOUD noise after a few minutes of listening, paired it to a completely different device via Bluetooth and same issue, finally disconnected all audio sources from it and simply powered it on this morning and guess what? SAME.LOUD.SCREECH immediately all three times I turned it on with nothing connected to it. Aside from this I've owned 3 pairs of Bose Noise Cancelling 700 headphones that each lasted 2 and a half years tops as well as a set of earbuds that last maybe 2 years. I've got an LG soundbar with subwoofer combo hooked to my other TV that I've had for over 4 years and gets way more use then the this Bose soundbar got and the LG is still working like a champ. After this I'm done with Bose, the drop in product quality no longer justifies their pricing.

Volume changes with channel changes

Bose says to fix I need to move the TV speaker away from the TV. That defeats the purpose. For that reason the Bose TV Speaker and seperate woofer is disconnected and sitting in a closet.

It Was Returned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm old, so remember Bose cube speakers when they came out. Bose put the Audio in Audiophile. Now, fast forward to present day, and you will find that Bose is just another high priced name in the audio category. We purchased the Bose TV Speaker to go in our bedroom with the new 48" LG CX OLED TV. After about 2.5 hours of trying everything under the sun to get the two paired up and working, we gave up and took it back. The owners manual was less than worthless. Almost every forum I checked, people had nothing but complaints about the Bose TV Speaker. It would seem that a lot of other people had the same problem. It just simply wouldn't pair up no matter what we tried. I even tried different HDMI cables, including HDMI 2.1. Returned the Bose TV Speaker, spent the extra $150.00 and picked up the Polk Audio MagniFi Home Theater System. The Polk system paired up immediately, no issues, and sounds great!

Not Capatiable with Apple TV

bad purchase
