The Bose speaker has great quality for the price point and I love the fact that it compact and can fit in small TV units. My only issue that it does not have a remote and always needs to be handled through phone. If you’re looking for something compact without a subwoofer, this is worth the money!

I love the sound, and setting it up was very easy. Bose is when you don't compromise with quality and pay a bit extra price, but you need to be lucky to get the sale. Cheers!!

I got this for my mom to help her catch the dialogue from programs better without having to crank the volume. The speech enhancement on this sound bar does the job. She loves it and the volume she uses is much lower now. However, in hooking it up, I realized just how bad the sound from my lcd tv is. People talk about the inferior sound from lcd tv built in speakers, but I always just sort of ignored it. That was until I heard this sound bar vs my tv speakers. I ended up getting one of these for myself. Easy to hook up, great sound. Fantastic!

I love Bose. I’ve had their CineMate speaker system for years and it still impresses me. That being said, this guy is great for just my bedroom! Don’t expect a full surround sound experience, but it definitely provides clear sound effects and satisfying bass when watching movies. I also struggle with hearing dialogue so I love the Dialogue Mode option. It easily connected to my tv remote and the setup was super simple (I used the HDMI option instead of optical). Treat yo’self with this soundbar and some popcorn and enjoy!

Sleek, not overly large, and pretty good sound for tv viewing. The only negative is there is no index as far as volume levels.

Works perfectly. My 3 year old Sony OLED TV sound board quit working - apparently, a common defect. Plugged Bose soundbar into the headphone jack and saved a few hundred dollars in repairs until I buy a Samsung OLED replacement some day.

Samsung TV is fabulous! We also bought the Bose sound bar also. Both are a great buy. TV picture is bright and clear. Sound bar has clear annunciation of words. I suggest buying the wall bracket from Amazon.

The salesperson was nice, but not fully informed. He told me everything I needed was in the box so I didn't need to purchase a hdmi cable. This was not the case. Sound bar sounds nice and was simple to setup.

I have a hard time hearing the TV. Didn't want anything fancy or exensive, just wanted to hear the TV clearly. Bought this because of reputation and it is living upto reputation. Nothing fancy but excellent quality and tone. Rasy to install with a universail sound bar mount to my 55 inch wall mounted TV. It's worth the few extra bucks

I would give this unit 5 stars, except for the lack of LEDs on the front panel to monitor the status of the soundbar (read below). The sound is excellent for what I'm using it for. I didn't want to run a bunch of wire and hang satellite speakers for my 5.1 rear L-R speakers, so I'm using this soundbar for my rear L-R channels. It sits under the TV and incredibly fills in the gap between the front L-R main speakers. The dispersion is excellent -- exactly what Bose is famous for. (NOTE: This unit is amplified, so do not shoot hot amplified audio from your amp's speaker outputs unless you can pad it down! My Onkyo surround tuner lets me set each output as low as -14dB, which is perfect for not over-driving the input of the Bose.) I use the analogue AUX input jack to feed in the speaker-out signal from the amp. The "dialogue" setting really does clarify speech in shows & movies where there is a lot of background EFX or music going on. Mids & highs are crystal clear -- no sibilance. Now, about those cheesy LED's... This unit only has 2 LED's on the front to let you know what mode you're in, etc. The LED's change color, blink in various ways, stay solid, etc., for each function. I had to download the complete manual and keep the page for the LED Mode Table handy to keep track of what I was setting up. For $279, Dr. Bose should have added a few more (inexpensive) LED's to the front panel. This was a real design flaw. Simplicity is fine if it doesn't make things complicated. Lastly, when in auto power-down mode, it takes about 2 hours to power off when there is no signal present -- kinda silly. 10 minutes makes more sense. I do not use this unit with any outboard sub-woofer, as my Boston Acoustic mains give all the thump we need. If you are using this (as intended) strictly for a TV speaker, you may want to add a small sub-woofer. You can easily connect one with a patch cord, via the 1/8" sub-out jack on the back. The price of this unit is way too much, but I paid it because it's Bose and it was the best sounding bar in this size range with an analogue input.

It’s good speaker. Sounds great. Easy to install. Good brand. Size is perfect match with my cabinet. I like it. I highly recommend it
