Returned and bought a Bose instead and problem solved!! Connecting was a breeze and can’t believe I went to JBL. Never Again!!! Stick with what you know BOSE!!!

I could connect using HDMI to monitor allowing me to power on and off as well as control sound with my remote.

Small Bose Sound Bar Provides Improved Sound

It is small enough to be out of sight behind the TV, but provides much better quality sound than the TV speakers.

Love this soundbar

This is my 2nd one purchased. Same model. I have a hard time with the ways tv's sound and this sound bar helps tremendously. I can make out what they are saying!! I highly recommend this soundbar.

If you have a large room you may want to add the separate bass speaker. Its very convenient to be able to play music from your phone via blluetooth when you are not watching TV.
