Using it with the smart TV is easy. Two problems are there isn't a way to see the volume level on the TV AND the biggest one is that to add a subwoofer it has to be a Bose product! Would really like to add the one I all ready own.

Good soundbar for the size

Overall, I am happy with the purchase, Bose quality. The sound is clear and you can control the bass. I use it more for watching TV than playing music. The remote control is small and there are no controls on the soundbar itself so don't lose the remote. I do have mine synced with the TV remote and connected to the HDMI (ARC) port so when I turn on the TV it also turns on the soundbar and I can control the volume with my TV remote.
