I purchased this as a Christmas present for my brother. Naturally I wanted to test it out before I gave it to him. I wanted to be sure it worked well and was easy to use (he is not good with electronics). I was so impressed, with the sound quality, especially for British shows (their music is loud and dialogue is low); that I went out and bought one for our living room! Keep in mind that this is not surround sound; it is a TV speaker. The quality of sound is a huge improvement over the flat screen internal speakers.

This speaker is perfect solution to my husband's loss of hearing. He loves it and doesn't have to keep increasing volume. It was very easy to install. I highly recommend this for hearing impaired individuals and others who enjoy clearer sound

This Bose Soundbar is awesome and once it was set up I realized just how much I missed having one and it has made me question myself as to why I waited so long to buy one. The sound is very clear, not overpowering and it adds another layer of enjoyment for me while watching tv.

I purchased this bar for improving sound in my bedroom. I had to have volume very high or use the subtitles to understand the dialogue. Since I hooked up the sound bar I don’t have to. Hook up was so easy plug in and begin, it was simple as that. I always use HDMI cables which I always have a backup supply to use. Improved the sound quality and I love that the sound comes directly in front of the tv as opposed to the back of it. It’s always worth the extra money to buy good quality items like Bose rather then a bargain buy.

Clarity is great, the bass hits for a small speaker. I would buy this again and do recommend it.

Simple speaker that has a listening feature to turn itself on in the event you don’t use the HDMI ARC port. Would’ve liked hanger screw holes on the back though.

It is really good speaker for a decent price, it offers some quirky features which could be good for someone who really wants to mess around with the settings. Sound is impressive, for watching action movies you will be satisfied and for gamers its good enough, it does slighty lack there for shooting games but it’s not bad either. Overall speaker is good for the price.

Expected more of quality as i had that small portable Boss speaker. Bass is not match to it. Loud but missing quality of Boss

Bose had never let me down. I had several speakers and the sound quality is outstanding. This sound bar was very easy to set up.

The speaker is very easy to set up and appears to be working as advertised. The sound difference is very good.

I cannot really say budget friendly seeing as it is over 200 $ but if you are balling on a budget i would definitely recommend, as a matter of fact my wife now uses it everyday even though i bought it for myself XD
