When it is working the sound is good. Very few controls which are surprisingly not helpful when it suddenly decides to stop working. We actually returned the first one we had because after a couple of months it had sporadic sound. The replacement appears to have the same issues. Could it be operator error? Even if it is, we could not figure out the solution.

I got this for a 24" TV in our newly renovated kitchen. It sounds great given the size, but I found that it does not play well with the Vizio D series TV or a Westinghouse Roku TV I tried with it via HDMI-ARC. Given it is specifically Roku TV compatible, this was disappointing. Problems included no sound, lack of volume control, failure to power on, and in one case, preventing the TV from powering on as well. Firmware updates to the TVs and sound bar did nothing to alleviate the issues. I also purchased a Vizio 24" soundbar to try with the Vizio TV, and that seems to be working fine although it doesn't sound nearly as good at this Bose unit.

I have purchased two of these for my house and one for my office. Perfect for what I need.

Come on its Bose... My house is a humble 3 bed and this bar fills the whole house with sound.. Crazy such a little thing sounds so good

This soundbar is great. Has enough bass for movies and has dialogue capabilities for clearer sound when not watching movies, sports or listening to music.

This speaker fits just what we need in our home. Not overbearing with too much bass or treble and does not blow out the room. My wife enjoys the fact that she can finally hear what the person speaking is saying and the sound it very clear and the size of the speaker in front to the tv it perfect. Great price too.

Recently bought this product as an open box “excellent” condition item (you can read what Best Buy’s description of an excellent condition item is on any product page). I was excited to receive this item, however upon opening my packaging box I discovered this product was anything but in excellent condition. First there are scratch marks on the top of the speaker and also a deep scratch on the front where it looks like someone dropped the product on a hard surface. Hardly a non-blemished item as describe in the listing. Second, the listing says all original parts/accessories will be included in the package. My item was missing the remote to the speaker. I can’t even turn the speaker on to use this item. I could live with the scratches, but to not even be able to use an item that was sold as “excellent condition with all accessories included” is ridiculous. Best Buy needs to get their act together because this is the second order they have disappointed me on in the last month. The first was on an on sale tv I ordered that was delayed and was then recalled during shipment. They then try to charge me full price when I tried to reorder it and would not honor the original sale price. Such a shame that the only order I have had successfully receive from a “premier” electronics store was a S’mores making machine. Officially, taking my business elsewhere.

This soundbar is awesome. Changed the sounds for our TV to the better. Recommend it. Bose is always a great name, you can't go wrong with their products.

Really enhanced our TV, sound quality wasn’t the best. Very small, fits right under the TV, good quality sound.

The sound was really surprising. I know Bose is a leader in speakers etc, but I was really hesitant to purchase this as I wasn't sure how their reputation would stand up in a soundbar. I am really really happy with the deep rich sound and the voices come in clearly. Best purchase I ever made.

my wife was having trouble hearing with our 20 yr old 47" tv. when we upgraded to a sony 65" x800h, we decided to upgrade the sound as well. she is very happy we did. everything from the fabulous sound & build quality to the compact look and ease of install. definitely a great move.

Great sound! Sounds better than the entertainment system i have in my living room and that has a sub. Perhaos its time to upgrade my lving room one now.

Much improved sound compared to LG;s TV speakers. This is especially helpful for a 90 year old who has trouble with accents and fast talkers. Bose did the job!

I purchased Bose my whole life. I was somewhat disappointed with this device. The sound was not much better than the actual 40 inch tv. I would advise to spend more money and have a better device.

Easy set up, clear sound -- buy an HDMI ACR from amazon for $8 it's easier than the cable it came with.

the speaker has a very good sound. easy to connect.

I am so happy with this soundbar! It was very easy to set up, and connects via Bluetooth and doesn’t need additional speakers or a subwoofer to create big sound. I especially love the voice clarity feature- it makes the dialogue much easier to hear/understand.

I bought this for the tv in my bedroom does a great job of filling the room (20x16) and I don’t have to turn the volume up as loud now. The ARC connections work great. I can use the direct tv remote to control the tv and Bose soundbar. (Power & volume)

Solid overall performance and sound for the price. Dramatically improved the sound versus standard speakers on Samsung TV purchased. Would like a little more mid range and bass from a center channel speaker in this price range.
