Otherwise this is a great speaker that far outperforms your TV speakers.

Bose Sound Bar

Fills in the missing dialogue from the TV speakers in the rear. Bass control is good and can be adjusted. It has auto on feature when an audio signal is sent to it. This can be disabled. My Apple TV 4K Siri Remote did not recognize it for volume control using the ATV 4K remote. I have this speaker just under the LG TV and have both the TV and Bose speakers on. Sounds great.
