This is a great budget friendly soundbar that is a terrific upgrade to any tv speakers. Set up is simple but it does NOT come with an HDMI cable.

We bought this to add a little more sound to the small tv for the workout room. Set up was easy and it looks great. Only thing I kinda wish is a little more bass with it. But for the price and size it’s a great little center speaker.

I love this particular speaker. Easy connect via BT, no need to turn it on manually. It turns off automatically, on standby if you need it. Sounds great, bass is more than enough for a small room. Planning of connecting it to my car as BT speaker on the go. Try it!

My mother wanted a simpler set up then the Sony receiver and wanted less bulk in her TV set up. Paired with an Apple TV, this fits the bill and very good sound. Might add the Bose subwoofer later for movies.

I was in need of a soundbar to enhance the tv speakers on my 1 yr old Samsung TV. The speakers are on the back side of the tv and would find myself turning up the volume to sometimes at least 17 or 18 in order to hear conversations at a comfortable level. It doesn't help the tv sits in a cabinet either. The first bar I purchased was the Roku soundbar but after a week of use found the sound not to my liking. Read a few reviews or the Bose which of course were mixed. Living in an apartment of roughly over 1K sq ft, I just needed something to project sound in the front without sounding like a tin can. Connection was simple, bar started up as soon as the power was connected. Using the optical cord instead of a HDMI cable, the sound is perfect to my ears once the tv spearkers were turned off. The base to me is great without having to utilize Base Adjust button on the remote. I wasn't looking to have a movie theater effect of loud base. The only negative I can find is I wish the volume could be controlled by my Samsung remote and also it would be nice to have a visual of the volume level output on the tv. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something simple. Pricey but worth it.

BOSE TV Speaker is a keeper!

Very impressed! I returned a small JBL 2.1 sound bar and subwoofer setup and picked the BOSE TV Speaker on the advice of a family member. The JBL was great but I was not able to detune the subwoofer enough to keep from bothering my neighbors (apartment living). This is where the BOSE TV Speaker really shines. Without the external wired subwoofer, it is powerful enough to deliver some impressive bass response without becoming overpowering. Now I realize that this is subjective, but in an apartment, your neighbors have their subjectivity to weigh in with as well. We have plans to move to a house once we have saved some more money and then we can add the subwoofer if we need more bass at that time. Pros: Remote is small, but not too tiny. Indicator LED's on the bar are not overpowering. Voice enhancement lets you increase voices in the audio without sacrificing the additional audio. Compact and deceptively powerful. Bluetooth (if you want to listen to your Bluetooth audio device. Cons: Single HDMI port (ARC) Expensive optional mounting brackets (optional and if needed) A little pricy - it's BOSE. Overall, a definite keeper!

I have been very impressed with the sound quality of this Bose soundbar. The audio is clear, rich, and makes movies, TV shows, and music much more enjoyable. Voices come through clearly, and the overall sound feels balanced and powerful for its size. One drawback I have noticed is that after the soundbar loses its connection to the TV, it can sometimes be difficult to reconnect. It usually works again after some troubleshooting, but the process is not always seamless. Despite this occasional issue, the sound performance and overall quality make this a solid product, and I am still happy with it overall.

Excellent Soundbar – Big Sound in a Sleek Design This soundbar completely transformed my TV and music experience. The sound is clear, rich, and powerful, with deep bass that really brings movies, shows, and music to life without overwhelming dialogue. Voices are crisp, action scenes feel immersive, and even at higher volumes there’s no distortion. Setup was quick and easy, and it connected seamlessly to my TV and other devices. I also love the sleek, modern design—it looks great in any room and doesn’t take up much space. Overall, this soundbar offers outstanding performance for the price and is a huge upgrade from built-in TV speakers. Highly recommend!

I was looking to boost the sound from our TV but we didn’t need to spend a lot nor did we need a surround system for our small room. But we had to turn the volume up on the TV to about 50 to hear certain streaming channels. This sound bar sounds great, made a huge difference, for a small price. Perfect for what we wanted!

I liked the convenience of how it fits under the TV. The sound is pretty good and needed to distinguish speech watching shows. I did also buy a higher end soundbar which I choose for my room. I will probably keep this one for another bedroom because of the price point and quality.

Saving a Loyal Best Buy Customer

I am going to jump forward to a Best Buy transaction on December 14, 2025 where I tried to move my November 25 purchase from my Visa to my Best Buy Credit Card. On November 25. 2025 I attempted to purchase two Bose Soundbars on my Best Buy Credit Card, and was told it wasn’t working. Unable to find out why this occurred, I was left with the only option to purchase the soundbars with my Visa. After spending hours on the phone for several days afterwards to find out why, I was instructed to return the items to the Best Buy store. You can imagine how surprised I was when I was told by Citi Bank at the store on Decembet 14th that they could not verify it was me, when they had just done that the day before on the phone. In other words, I could not move the purchase of the soundbars from my Visa to my Best Buy Credit Card while the items were temporarily on sale. Trey, I believe a geek squad member, could see how frustrated my wife and I were. He advocated for us by calling Citi Bank a second time, and stated our predicament. He was able to get the Citi Bank representative to ok our use of our Best Buy Credit Card. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer that has purchased countless items in the last 15 years. I research items for purchase and come to Best Buy to “try out” the items. This is the advantage Best Buy has over Amazon, Bose, and other online competitors. Best Buy also allows me to pay off the items over time which is another advantage. However, I was extremely frustrated that I could not use my Best Buy Credit Card, and no one could tell me why, until Trey advocated for us. I was ready to no longer be a loyal Best Buy customer. Trey changed all that by listening to his customer, spending a great deal of time explaining our predicament to Citi Bank, and getting Citi Bank to approve the use of our Best Buy Credit Card. I have always paid our credit card off in a timely basis, and later found that the reason Citi Bank did not want to approve our purchase using the Best But Credit card was that they had a phone number other than our Best Buy approved phone number. A day earlier, on the phone, Citi Bank was able to verify it was me, without the use of my phone number. Trey was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and results oriented. I cannot thank him enough for what he did for us. Working in quality and customer service in healthcare for over 36 years, I appreciate Trey, and will continue to shop at Best Buy because of him. Another item you may want to consider, relates to the other reason Best Buy stands out in relation to their competitors. The ability to try products in the store. On November 25th, I came in to purchase 2 soundbars by comparing the Bose to the Sonos soundbars. The Sonos exhibit did not work. Although I was in the DeKalb store 2 more times within 19 days, it still did not work. The very advantage your stores have over the online competitors is not being supported. I hope this is something corporate can remedy.

    Absolutely Amazing

I am absolutely delighted with this soundbar. We bought a new 65" 4K UHD TV late summer along with a new Insignia cabinet and this speaker is the last component to complete the new set-up. I cannot adequately describe to you the subtle depth of audio clarity that this little guy brings to the viewing experience; you don't have to play it loud, it just immerses the whole room. Our living room is average to smallish in size and the unit is perfect for our set-up. The set-up was amazingly simple using the included cable along with a quick perusal of the manual. Bass and dialog settings were simple and I was done in 10 minutes. I've always heard that Bose audio was 'top-of-the-line' and I'm here to tell you, it is. So, if you're thinking about purchasing this Bose soundbar, go ahead and do it. You won't be sorry!

This soundbar is a huge difference from the TV speaker. We have a small apartment so we didn’t have a real need for an extremely amplified soundbar. This does the job perfectly! Movies and music are both now elevated as far as sound goes. We required an HDMI cable (the cable it comes with wasn’t compatible). Once it was connected to our smart tv with the HDMI cable, we didn’t really have a use for the small remote that it comes with. In other words, the soundbar automatically turns on along with the TV. The volume is adjusted with our TV remote. It is also has Bluetooth capability which makes listening to music very easy. It was designed in such a way that sound is not only projected from the front but also from the sides. It is a reasonable size with a bit of weight to it, but isn’t an eye sore. Overall, we’re very pleased with this purchase!

I purchased the Bose - TV Speaker Bluetooth Soundbar to get better room filling sound. This review is based on 1 month of ownership. I own a 65” Sony Bravia 4k TV and like most large screen TVs the speakers are not very powerful. I am rating this Bose Soundbar 5 stars because: 1) The sound is worlds better than my TV’s speakers. I can hear all the voices clearly and I get good room filling sound. My TV room is 12’ x 18’ and this soundbar is perfect. 2) This soundbar is smaller and fits in my entertainment center nicely. Many sound bars are very wide and do not fit in my entertainment center. 3) I have this soundbar connected to my TV’s HDMI “ARC” port. When I turn my TV on/off the soundbar turns on/off. When I turn the TV volume up/down the soundbar volume goes up/down. I only need to use the TV remote which simplifies things.
