I usually don't write reviews but am offering this one as I could find very little insight into my own search for a soundbar that works with a turntable. I was skeptical that this little soundbar would do the job for me but it really exceeded my expectations. Going into this purchase I was looking to drastically simplify and minimize my audio setup. After years of lugging around a component system and never really using it to its capacity I wanted simple and minimal. A soundbar was appealing but it needed to handle both my flatscreen Roku TV and a record player. This immediately cut down the soundbars available as most did not have any aux ports. My internet research showed that the Bose TV Speaker was highly recommended for a turntable. The only thing I wasn't crazy about this was that it could not be expanded to full surround sound with satellite speakers, only a bass module. I also felt some shame going with a bottom of the line soundbar (even though it is a Bose) withy my turntable. What would my vinyl collecting friends think of me?? I talked with a Best Buy associate in-store (who seemed unsure about how exactly to connect a record player) and I decided to test a work around with a RCA to HDMI adapter for my turntable and the Bose 600 soundbar, which could be expanded to full surround. Unfortunately this did not work! Reluctantly I unboxed the Bose TV Speaker, plugged in my RCA to 3.5mm adapter to the Aux port and it worked like a charm. And it sounds really good, even without the bass module. I even compared it with my old component system and it sounded better. And it works great for TV audio too - deep low end and clear speaking. Worked seamlessly with the Roku TV interface and I like that I can control all of it with My RokuTV remote. Also good for bluetooth audio from my phone. In the end I am very pleased with this as it has drastically cleaned up my AV equipment and meets my listening needs. As I said, exceeded my expectations and reinforced Bose audio quality. I'll also note that Best Buy accepted the return on the 600 and adapter no questions asked.

Bose always delivers. This soundbar doesn't have alexa in it so it's plug and play. Easy to set up and standard bose quality sound delivery. Got an open box item so the discount on the quality helped decide my purchase :)

Our new Bose TV Speaker was easy to set up and works well with our Sony TV in the main bedroom. We didn't want multiple speakers for this TV. The Bose product was the answer. The dialog is clear, music sounds great and we had it working in 5 minutes. Even found an open box device at a discount!

If you want it for a small room nothing crazy yes perfect but for a big room loud music or movie not so good . Bose is not what it used to be . For 200 I got a Sony sound bar with woofer and is 10000 better

Very happy with the purchase and sound of this soundbar. I wanted something with a slim design but with good sound quality and this sounds great with clear voice quality for the TV. Also wanted something that did not have Alexa built into the soundbar. Very easy setup.

Wanted to update to a newer tv and love the picture and all the features that it has. Didn't take long to set up. I also added a sound bar which was a good idea, helps with the firestick for sound and everything works off the remote that comes with the tv. So far very happy with my purchase. You can see how much makeup the news anchor is wearing, that's how good the picture is.

Obsessed. I need one for all my tvs. I love the sound quality and ease of assembly. Love that it doubles as my Bluetooth speakers

bought this because because i needed a little more volume from my tv but not to loud. this bose soundbar does that and more. easy set up and it automatically configured itself to work with my roku tv, and the roku remote changes the volume and allows me to use only one remote. now i have the sound that makes watching movies on my tv that much better

Bose soundbar speaks for itself with wonderful sound and dialect .Have it below a insignia movie screen, which also comes from Best Buy..

This product truly enhanced my home theatre experience, I really didn’t have much knowledge or experience with sound enhancing tech but this made a big difference in my mind. Connected seamlessly with my TCL tv

Bought this on Black Friday and returned the very next day. The sound was amazing and so much better then my TV speakers. Voices were clear and easy to hear. I read so many positive reviews on how this works great for a TV in a small room, which is what I was getting it for, that the few negative ones I saw never even cross my mind. Low in behold I happened to be one of those people who got disappointed in the product. It worked great for an hour then, it just shut off, got it working again to finish the show but then it shut off again. Tried all the different trouble shooting to get it to work and nothing. Never overheated, just decided to shut off. My first Bose product and got let down.

Bought the sound bar after having a 65 inch flat screen...speakers on the TV ( and any flat screen) are not optimal for watching movies, taped shows, or any show with British actors. Was tired of doing closed captions and reading what I wished to listen and understand without straining to hear the words. This Bose unit is fantastic and easy to set up as advised.

Excellent value for the dollar. You get a big sound from a tiny package. I bought this because the dialog from my seven-year-old flat screen just wasn't cutting it. The sound is now clear and precise, and I have the bonus of a little bass when called for. (You can get much more but I had to turn it down in consideration of my neighbors.)

Fantastic. Everything sounds incredible. Using the ARC hdmi port allows the audio to play from any input or app. I highly recommend it. My tv is a Roku smart tv and I had no issue using the Roku remote to change the volume. The Bluetooth also allows you to disconnect the tv and switch to a phone or other player easily without having the try to reconnect

Not as awesome as I had hoped for. Only has bass adjustment. But you can’t go wrong with Bose. It is significantly better than tv audio. I am pleased with the item for the price.

Great addition to our TV in the bedroom. Been a fan of Bose for years!

Bose has always been top notch and this sound bar delivers at that level. Really easy to set up and use. Only giving it 4 stars b/c you have to use the Bose remote to adjust the bass and connect a Bluetooth device. Also, have to manually turn down sound on tv and there is no volume level display when changing the volume.
