Using it with the smart TV is easy. Two problems are there isn't a way to see the volume level on the TV AND the biggest one is that to add a subwoofer it has to be a Bose product! Would really like to add the one I all ready own.

The "tin can" sounds from these incredible TVs (65" Samsung OLED Q80B) is unacceptable. Due to alignment of our entertainment area I did not want the multiple speaker "surround sound" setup. I wanted a single sound bar and this fit the bill. So far, so good, and well worth the investment. We also are enjoying the music station apps much more now that we have this Bose product.

It sounded better than any of what I demo’d at our brick and mortar store, some of which were over 4x the cost. don’t let the price point fool you into underestimating this unit. It is absolutely worth investing in.

Had to switch to the optical input snd everything started to work correctly. Dont know if the problem was with tge TV or the soundbar. It was frustrating the connection would stop and the TV would switch to the tv speaker setting and would have to unplug the hdmi cable for it to switch back to the speaker. After using the optical no ptoblems.
