Crisp, clear sound in the Bose tradition with digital clarity, the only thing I would add is more bass but given the overall high quality of the component that does not need to be dwelled upon. To resolve the bass issue, I was able to connect my legacy sound system via converter cable and put some serious Surround Sound in my bedroom!
