I hated just wearing one ear bud or turning on transparency on my airpods because i still could hear my surroundings while listening to kisic at a decent volume. These dont go in to your ear but yet they sound amazing. I though the sound of my music would bleed but it doesn’t. Bose makes good stuff

These sit right outside the ear canal and they're perfect for her. The quality of bose products can't really be beat either.

Blocked microphones may cause poor sound quality for the listener on the other end of the call. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have a battery life of up to 7 hours with Immersive Audio off, 4 hours with Immersive Audio on, and 3 hours when both Immersive Audio and Auto Volume are enabled. With a fully charged case, you can get up to 19.5 hours of use. Charging times are approximately 1 hour for the earbuds, 3 hours for the case, and a quick 10‑minute charge provides up to 2 hours of use.
Each earbud is equipped with two microphones, and proper positioning can greatly improve call quality. Good Sound, BAD microphone

Every time I get on the phone with someone, they tell me it sounds like I am going in and out with sound. I would not recommend for the price.
