How great these earbuds are! I purchased these for my wife, who is allergic to the silicone featured inside of normal earbuds. These buds don’t have silicone that sits in your ear, and instead, the speaker fires downward into your ear canal. The result is very interesting, because you can hear the music just as clearly as regular earbuds, but your ear are still open. I became so jealous of hers, that I actually purchased another pair for myself, and I love them! I still find myself using regular earbuds too, like when on a plane, because you can hear the music coming off these if you turn them up really high. However, for doing things around the house, or going walking, bike riding, etc, they are wonderful, because I can keep my ears open to listen for my kid, or cars. In some ways, these are the best sounding earbuds I’ve ever had. The bass is remarkable, and is just as good as my regular Bose earbuds.

I'm on my 11th pair of earbuds now, but i bought these as my 9th. I really loved the concept. I am active, always on call and often in loud environments (truck driver), where i need to keep an ear out for my surroundings. I will say, these are the most comfortable buds on the market. This is by far the best design for fit, ease of putting them on one handed and long term wear. They also sound phenomenal when playing music or books. At full volume, people around me could hear that i was listening to something, but they couldn't tell what. So there is an aspect of privacy there. However. The phone call quality is abysmal. These earbuds want to transmit every single noise, no matter how far away, and blare them at your recipient. When they do decide to transmit your own voice, they prioritize every other noise over it, so to your caller, you sound like you're stuck in a very noisy well. It is awful. And there is no fix. I keep them for 29 days trying to get them to work for my callers, because i loved them so much for my music. There is no positioning, setting, app or other fix to make calls bearable. If you're only using these for media, this is the best product you can buy. If you intend to place a phone call, similar $17 amazon open ear buds sound about the same to your recipient, and at times, better than these. On the 29th day, i was thinking that i was going to keep them for times when i just was listening to things and not making phone calls, while searching for another pair that would excel exclusively for calling. But then the case broke at the hinge. The lid no longer stayed on. What a bummer. I returned them to the store and bought 2 other branded headsets that both work significantly better for calls and are only slightly worse for media. You got so close Bose. But i really expected more out of a namebrand headset approaching $300.

Having used multiple brands of in-earbuds, using these Open-Ear Bose Earbuds was a unique experience. And, frankly, I love the experience. I can wear them all day and not have any fatigue, unlike having a silicon tip lodged in my ear canal. I wear them everywhere, no one takes a second look to see them clipped on my ear. Wearing them all day is like having a soundtrack to life everywhere I go. I have also listened to podcasts more frequently as it is convenient and can be done so in the course of a normal day's activities. The sound quality is good, and better than I expected. It's not an in-ear experience, but quite satisfactory (and I am picky about my sound as an audiophile). This is an amazing first attempt by Bose, and the next reiteration should even improve. NOTE: If you try these and think the sound doesn't work for you, move them around and adjust the angles on your ear, it makes a difference with individual placement. I found the sweet spot for me and it was vastly improved over my first placement.

I like the comfort and sound (despite the lack of bass) plus the ability to hear others around me, or the environment. My only dislikes are the fiddling to find the "sweet spot" in clipping the earbuds to the ear (it takes some practice) and the inability to hear in a noisy environment. At home, in a store, I can wear these and hear fine. But if you are in a noisy environment (an older model aircraft as I was recently) the buds are pretty useless. I have the Shokz open ear model, and they are good as well but the Bose are so light I forget they are on! I also have the Shokz bone conduction earphones, and they were fine too and better in noisy environments. I may travel with these and the Bose, and use whatever works best.

My favorite very comfortable. It is used all day with an extraordinary sound and a very good battery. I have no doubt about buying this product again

My daughter loves them she said the sound is great. They it took two days for her pair to die so that was good. She says they’re wonderful. I’m counting on it. They’re pricey, but worth it she said.

I like my purchase due to the price. You can never go wrong with Bose. The sound quality is good so far and the ear buds fit perfectly in my ear.

I bought them for my mom and she loves them. They’re great for wearing out if you want to listen to music while still being aware of your surroundings. They don’t sit in your ears like traditional earbuds and they are comfortable and compact. The buds sit on the lobe of your ears and don’t fall out or off.

If you hate jamming silicon tips into your ears or get ear fatigue from traditional earbuds, these are a total game-changer. ​Design & Color First off, the Sunset Iridescent finish is absolutely stunning. It has a beautiful, premium shift in color that looks more like a sleek piece of jewelry or an ear cuff than a piece of tech. I constantly get compliments on them. The clip-on cuff design is incredibly lightweight; half the time, I completely forget I’m even wearing them. ​Sound Quality & Situational Awareness Bose’s OpenAudio technology is amazing. The sound is rich, crisp, and surprisingly private—people sitting right next to me can't hear my music. Because they leave your ear canal completely open, they are perfect for outdoor runs, walks, or working in an office where you still need to hear your surroundings or talk to people without constantly pausing your audio. ​Battery & Features The battery easily lasts me through a long workday (around 7 hours, or slightly less if using the Immersive Audio spatial feature), and the case charges them up incredibly fast. ​Things to Consider Keep in mind that these do not have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). They are strictly designed to let the outside world in, so they aren't ideal for noisy airplane cabins. Also, the microphone for phone calls is just decent—perfectly fine for quick calls, but not studio-quality. ​Verdict After a full year of ownership, the durability has been top-notch. They are worth every penny for the comfort, awareness, and unique aesthetic alone!

The sound quality and comfort is better than any other open earbud I have tried and it’s not even close. The main issue is the microphone and price. Quite frankly, the microphone is abysmal and by far its biggest performance weakness. The other major issue is it is way too expensive for a product like this when other open-ears are considerably cheaper. I ultimately returned it in favor of a more economical open-ear option.

This is an amazing earbuds very comfortable to wear and easy to connect. It also fits on my 5yrs old son's ear and it doesn't even fall like other products. Highly recommended for any age.

I’m really happy with this purchase. The sound quality is clear, the fit is comfortable, and they’re easy to use right out of the box. Battery life has been great so far, and they stay in place even when I’m moving around. Definitely worth it and I would recommend them.

I bought these because I wanted to listen to music while I am at work, and these do the job. There is no bass at all, you can hear the bass only if the volume is really low, but if you want to listen to podcast these are perfect. Great sound quality but no punchy bass. I did not like that everytime a call starts there is a sound to tell you that, and you cannot hear the first 1.5 seconds of the call. These earbuds are only for cellphones, if you want to use them with PC or Nintendo Switch 2, they do not work well. There is too much latency

They don’t hurt my ears at all and they are perfect if you talk on the phone a lot, listen to audiobooks and music while still hearing your kids or what’s going on around you with also getting great sound from these ear phones. Highly, highly recommended these to anyone with ear fatigue!

Good for someone who isn’t super serious about sound quality. Sounds stuffy in phone calls and there is a crackling sound that occurs occasionally. I like these headphones because I can wear them in bed with no issues and can hear my surroundings. They also don’t fall out no matter what.

Sound is good but not really good when on call the reciever can not hear me well. Ending to use my phone speaker.
