I can truly hear things around me when listening to music, books or on a call. When on a call, I'm told it is crystal clear. Can you mow the grass and listen to something? No, but that isnt the purpose of these. Can you go on a run and feel better about hearing your surroundings while enjoying music or a book, yes.

Most Comfortable ear buds I have ever owned

I forget that they are even in. They sound great. I also prefer the fact that I can manually switch between multiple devices by either the app or by the botton.

My only complaint is when I am at the gym, I can’t even hear what is coming through the earbuds. I know they are open buds but I didn’t realize just how much background noise I would hear.

The bose sound is good listening to music. This was not worth the 300.00. I love bose products, but they messed up on these earphones. I'm so disappointed with these earphones.

The design of these offers is different from any other Bose earbuds and because they are not sitting and blocking your ear canals, you will get a new experience, which can be surprising at first. My problem is when riding bike volume struggle to keep up with the wind noise plus when answering a call I can’t hear them and they can’t hear me.

Due to the buds' open-ear design, an excessive amount of wind noise can indeed make it hard for you to hear your audio content. As for the more serious problem of not being able to take calls, make sure your earbuds are using their latest firmware; version 4.0.22 was released last year to improve the customer's experience on calls.
