||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I purchased these to replace my Bose quiet comfort ultra gen 1. I really wanted to like these. First the right ear shows 10-30% less than the left ear even though they both show 100% when I begin to listen. No one can hear me when they call. Also the sound is great if I hold the earbuds to my ear but move away when I release them. Then I can't hear the music well at all. Taking these back. Very disappointed.

And the mic for calls could use some work, everyone has trouble hearing me.

You can barely hear phone calls and the connectivity is awful. I never write reviews, but felt compelled becaise these are that bad

They clip on ok but the sound seems to be muffled with how they fall in my ear. One of the buds doesn't seem to connect 100% of the time and I have to put it back in case and then try again. I have them linked to phone and computer, if computer is on and I want to use them with phone they won't connect. Haven't figured out how to correct this other than have computer off.

If your earbuds are sounding muffled, follow the guide here to make sure you're wearing them optimally: https://support.bose.com/s/article/ult-headphoneopn-wearing-and-adjusting-your-earbuds---ka08c000001brkkaai?language=en_US. As for the connection issues you mentioned, it is best to wait until the right earbud's battery level has been announced before you put the left earbud in. Lastly, you can store up to 6 devices in the earbuds' device list, however you can only connect and play audio from one device at a time. I hope this information is useful! The earbuds are updated wirelessly via the Bose app; the case is updated from a computer by going to btu.bose.com.
