Unfortunately, using the app isn't an improvement on sound quality. Two stars because at this price point you'd expect an overall decent experience BUT the phone call quality is waaay below acceptable. JLABs at least inclue 2 Mic ENC on their epic open sports for less than half the price. I WOULD NOT recommend these to anyone expecting to make phone calls with them. Which these days, I'm sure almost anyone is expecting to take or make calls. Bose price point remains high but dont improve quality.

I have hard to fit ears and the open design of these made them an easy fit…. They don’t move or hurt …. I could jump out of a plane and these bad boys will stay… As a bonus my supervisor thought they were earrings as earbuds aren’t allowed on the floor… Another I got them lol

I dislike about poor sound quality, i could not able to hear voice in the call. Opposite person also couldn't be able to hear my voice clearly.

Callers said I sounded hollow and several times they had trouble connecting and callers could not hear me. Seems like the product needs better software. Shokz are cheaper and much better.Also, these are very over priced for the options and sound.
