    Great for listening to music. Range is fine. I can walk around house and stay connected. If they disconnect, I have setup the bluetooth connection all over. Phone convesations are bad. Constantly, I can't hear you... you sound far... Would not recommend for the Price. Thought I was buying the best... apparently cost does not equate to quality.

      The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds feature two microphones in each earbud, and proper fit and placement can make a significant difference in call performance. If the microphones are obstructed or the earbuds aren’t positioned correctly, it may result in the other caller experiencing poor sound quality (such as voices sounding distant). We recommend ensuring the earbuds are worn as intended on each ear and that the microphones are not blocked by hair, hats, or other headwear.

The earbuds are updated wirelessly via the Bose app; the case is updated from a computer by going to btu.bose.com.     So I purchased these to replace my Bose quiet comfort ultra gen 1. I really wanted to like these. First the right ear shows 10-30% less than the left ear even though they both show 100% when I begin to listen. No one can hear me when they call. Also the sound is great if I hold the earbuds to my ear but move away when I release them. Then I can't hear the music well at all. Taking these back. Very disappointed.

    Great item for a mom who wants to listen to music or make calls but also hear my daughter in case anything! 4/5 because sometimes others have issues hearing me if I don’t have both on.

    Style and looks good. Battery in one bud inconsistently charging. Sound not optimal unless the volume is all the way up. Frequent connectivity issues.

For reference, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have a battery life of up to 7 hours with Immersive Audio off, 4 hours with Immersive Audio on, and 3 hours with both Immersive Audio and Auto Volume on. The case provides up to 19.5 hours of charge. Earbuds take about 1 hour to fully charge, the case about 3 hours, and a quick 10‑minute charge provides up to 2 hours of use.
