My wife loves these almost never takes them off. She was a littlenupset about noise canceling but if actually does a good job.

There is not alot of gain to the volume. Most every device has to be ran full blast have decent and equal volume to the surrounding noise

I’m sorry. But Bose made a big mistake. I tried the set and found sound is moving between left and right devices without any reason. I can’t say this is a premium earbuds. Sorry BOSE

If you like quality sound but don't like having a typical ear bud stuffed in your ear. The Bose Open Ear Bud Ultras will be a great option for you. After 3 days of wearing these 16hrs a day, I will say out of any ear bud I own these are by far the most comfortable. They are very light weight and apply very little to no pressure to my ear. Which is always my biggest complaint with ear buds. The Bose Open Ear bud Ultra's have a very easy to use single button control that stays tucked out of the way behind your earlobe, which I find to be a great feature in comparison to other brands that I own. I always have had an issue with bumping the buttons on others while I'm working, which leads to accidental hang ups if I'm on a phone call or even skipping a favorite song. Battery Life is a big must for me as well, After using these for three days I haven't had to charge the case yet. If you need a ear bud that allows you to listen to music and also be able to hear what's going on around you, look no further. Now to the just ok things, volume level is lacking a bit. In louder environments such as the automotive shop I work in it can get loud and make it a bit harder to hear my music or phone calls, But that's kind of expected. The unique Immersive sound setting seems to be a bit glitchy, it tends to cut in and out, which I'm sure will be fixed with a firmware updated. those are the only two things that stopped me from giving a 5 star rating on these. Much like any Bose product there is an App. to control things like the EQ and quick functions which can be customized in the app. All in all these are a great sounding high end ear bud that wont hurt your ears.
