But it sounds great and loud enough to be able to be aware of your surroundings.

This is done by putting both buds in the case, then pressing and holding the button on the back for 20 seconds with the case still open. Rebooting your mobile device may also help in strengthening the Bluetooth connection. They stay on and are super comfortable. Only issue someone might have is they don’t completely block out ambient sound.

They are very comfortable and great for audio books. I love that they sit outside of your ear, however not great if what you’re looking for is noise cancellation. They are also not great for talking on the phone. But for music and audiobook these are excellent!
