Love them
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new earbuds. I gave it a 4 stars only because of you are in a noisy place you really have to put the volume up to the max in prefer to hear. Besides that, they are a great pair of buds. They do not hurt my inner ear because they’re not in my inner ear like all other buds. I love the fit and feel of them and they sound great.

Still the Best EarbudsforAll-DayComfort and Style!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these Bose Ultra Open-Ear Earbuds last year in the Sunset Iridescent color, and they have completely changed how I listen to music and podcasts daily. If you hate jamming silicon tips into your ears or get ear fatigue from traditional earbuds, these are a total game-changer. Design & Color First off, the Sunset Iridescent finish is absolutely stunning. It has a beautiful, premium shift in color that looks more like a sleek piece of jewelry or an ear cuff than a piece of tech. I constantly get compliments on them. The clip-on cuff design is incredibly lightweight; half the time, I completely forget I’m even wearing them. Sound Quality & Situational Awareness Bose’s OpenAudio technology is amazing. The sound is rich, crisp, and surprisingly private—people sitting right next to me can't hear my music. Because they leave your ear canal completely open, they are perfect for outdoor runs, walks, or working in an office where you still need to hear your surroundings or talk to people without constantly pausing your audio. Battery & Features The battery easily lasts me through a long workday (around 7 hours, or slightly less if using the Immersive Audio spatial feature), and the case charges them up incredibly fast. Things to Consider Keep in mind that these do not have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). They are strictly designed to let the outside world in, so they aren't ideal for noisy airplane cabins. Also, the microphone for phone calls is just decent—perfectly fine for quick calls, but not studio-quality. Verdict After a full year of ownership, the durability has been top-notch. They are worth every penny for the comfort, awareness, and unique aesthetic alone!

Perfect for on the go
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Bose clip-on headphones are great if you don’t want full noise cancellation. They don’t block everything out, but that’s actually what I like about them. I can listen to my music while still being aware of my surroundings, especially when I’m out and about. Comfortable and convenient.

Highly recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised and shocked at how comfortable they are to wear and the sound quality is remarkable. After a few seconds I forget I’m wearing these earbuds. Others have commented on the lack of base and volume. In my experience if positioned correctly neither is true. I’ve used them to listen to Audiobooks, music and even movies and find them great. They are a little pricey but in my opinion well worth it, I would recommend Bose Ultra Open Earbuds in a heartbeat.

I've had 4 BOSE Earbud products go bad in a row
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Positive notes first: ---- - The actual buds that go into your ears are comfortable, and the sound is great and seems to be very private while also allowing you to be aware of surroundings. I use it for hiking and trail running primarily. They stay put and are a great design themselves. The cons: ---- I was also a customer of BOSE for the Sports Open "over ear" series. Collectively: I have had to do 4 straight replacements of one variety of another with their products. For the sports open ear: I had to replace once two charging stands and a third replacement for a earpiece that went bad. For this new ultra setup: I now have my first charging case to replace. EACH of these replacements has occurred within 6 months to a year across the board. It was so frequent, in fact: that I remained within warranty with BOSE for all of my replacements of my BOSE sport. The bose ultra case managed to last me up until just past my 1 year anniversary with the product and so thus im stuck paying $100 for a replacement case on amazon. THeir charging stands and cases, simply put: are VERY cheap. You'll run into issues with the pins connecting or getting jammed into the small spaces. You'll feel the cheapness and how delicate they are. The only reason the bose ultra lasted the full year is I used them signifcantly less than my bose sport. Im confident they would've broken within first 6months to year as well had I used them as often as the sport open ear. BOSE is "getting away with this" with me as a customer simply by having a design that is superior to the competitors so far with open ear. However I cannot wait until competitors start to match them on good solutions for open ear wireless buds (not in-ear) because I am more than ready to ditch this brand. Their stuff simply does not last and you WILL be sending it back for a replacement if in warranty OR be replacing a case or bud soon enough. --- Note that for SOUND QUALITY, BATTERY LIFE, and CONNECTIVITY I'd give better star rating than "overall". Battery life I am giving a 2 star because in reality the battery charging is always an issue. However when you DO charge them the charge length is fine to get through a nice hike, etc. I've been happy with that piece when they actually work.

Earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very stylish and work well overall. The sound is good and they look great. However, during phone calls, people sometimes have trouble hearing me. Also, they don’t work with Siri, which is a bit disappointing.

Bose open ear ultra sound ear phones
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these ear phones! I have really small ears and these fit so comfortably without hurting them after long wear. I also love the open ear sound because I can run comfortably while being able to hear my surroundings without taking away from the quality of the sound.

An amazing problem solver for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over the years I have used literally dozens of different earbuds from a wide variety of manufacturers as well as many aftermarket ear tips in the search for great sound with a proper fit and seal…my right ear canal is larger than my left so I always end up with a bad seal in my right ear. I’ve tried foam ear tips and while they work well the pressure they create in order to get a proper seal makes them uncomfortable for me after awhile. I have also tried several different open ear buds to solve my ear fit problem but the sound was always lacking in the bass department. The other day while browsing YouTube, the algorithm put a video for the Huawei ear clip in my feed and while not available in the U.S., I noticed that it was frequently compared to the Bose Ultra Open-Ears so down the rabbit hole I went and that brings us to this review. Let me begin by saying if you are wanting ANC these are not for you BUT if you want full rich sound with a comfortable fit while being able to talk with someone when needed without needing to take out your earbuds then the Bose Ultra Open-Ears should work perfectly…they are the solution that I have been looking for. Highs, mids and bass are all present providing a full rich sound ( not booming bass but more than enough for great sound) with a 3 band equalizer built into the app, allowing you to customize your preferred sound signature. The immersion mode widens the sound stage to provide depth to your music and the app even has head tracking as well as auto volume settings. As for comfort, after getting used to having the Open-Ears on ( think of wearing an ear cuff) you will forget they are even there as they provide the perfect amount of pressure to keep them in place without fear of losing them or being uncomfortable at all. I think I have finally found my perfect fit.

Not the Bose I Remember—Returned With Regret
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose Ultra Open Ear wireless earbuds just didn’t hit the mark for me—especially when it came to sound quality. I wanted immersive, enjoyable audio, but what I got felt flat and underwhelming for something carrying the Bose name. That said, my biggest issue isn’t exclusive to this model. It’s something I’ve noticed with multiple recent Bose Bluetooth headphones: the call performance has taken a serious hit across the board. The active noise cancellation (ANC), or maybe whatever processing is layered with it, seems to interfere with voice clarity. My voice is often transmitted lower than the background noise—leaving the person on the other end hearing more of my environment than me. With the Ultra Open Ear specifically, my wife and kids frequently told me I sounded like I was in a tunnel, or they’d hear their own voices echo back during calls. This happened whether I was moving in a car or even sitting stationary in my office. The clarity just wasn’t there, and it made hands-free calls frustrating instead of convenient. Bose still delivers on build quality and aesthetics, but they’ve drifted from the acoustic precision and reliability that made them a leader. It feels like the brand is leaning too much on its legacy—and less on making sure every new product is actually worthy of that legacy. I returned these, and I hope Bose takes feedback like this seriously.

Bose never disappoints
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound quality. I love the range of volume, keeping it low lets you hear the surrounding but if you increase the volume you can focus on the music when needed. Been on several runs and they fit well, no movement. Still getting used to the control but so far very good product. I tried out shokz since they’re all the rave in the running community but didn’t come close to these. Someone swears I just got defective shokz but Bose always delivers on sound quality.

Great open-ear headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This are a great option for open ear headset, battery life is awesome and they can adjust to the ear in different positions. I like them for outdoors exercising. Sometimes it struggles to switch connections between windows and Mac or iPhone, but having the case nearby solves the problem.
